Move your body, turn on your brain! Grow new brain cells at any age! Can this be true?
Neuroscientists and authors, Wendy Suzuki and Shane O’Mara have given us some great insight about the extraordinary, life changing effects of walking and other physical activity can have on the most important organ in our body, our BRAIN!
Research shows that going for a simple walk can turn on your brain, for a better attitude, for more vitality and for personal empowerment that will keep changing your life for the better.
2,000 years ago Hippocrates referred to walking as ‘ the best medicine.’ It doesn’t cure you but it does help you not to focus on your pain or  other negatives going on in your life. Join the likes of Aristotle, Charles Dickens, Beethoven and Steve Jobs to name but a few. They went for long walks to get their creative juices flowing.
Listen to their personal experiences as well as the knowledge our hosts have learned from listening to a variety of podcasts and Ted Talks about walking and brain health.
If you are thinking about missing out on your gym session or walk today. Not so fast! It’s not just your gluts and biceps that will miss out if you don’t exercise. So will your brain!
