In this episode I speak with Caroline Hegarty who created a community called Equitopia.
Caroline felt disempowered as a horse owner as the experts she has in farriers and trainers of her horses were telling her they knew best. Even when she was able to be brave and speak up they still shut her down. So being the amazing woman she is, Caroline decided to do something about it and created an online community where you as a horse owner can educate yourself, find support and also find great expert in their fields who are collaborative and open and always put the horse first.
I love what Caroline has created and she will continue to grow what she has done and is truly helping horses all over the world to have a better life by empowering the owners like you and me.
Equitopia has the course by Dr Sue Dyson as well, the Ridden Horse Ethogram that I spoke with Sue about a couple of episodes ago. So there is definitely great information and she has chosen her experts very well.
