Invaluable podcast for lore (40K, 30K, AoS)
As someone who doesn’t play 40K/30K or know much about the lore, Combat Phase’s in-depth conversations with Black Library authors has been an invaluable way to learn more about the game’s universe. Kenny is usually the one conducting the interviews. His positive disposition always seems to make it easy for the authors to open up. I’m also a huge fan of their Age of Sigmar coverage, such as their recent chat with Nick Horth about his City of Secrets novel.

Solid podcast
Good content, good hosts who stick to topic (most of the time), and don't travel into the "jr. high" humor as many 40K/miniature podcasts tend to do. Solid podcast worth listening too especially if you like many different games.

Great mini war gaming podcast
They cover a lot of games (mainly warhammer and 40k). This is a great show for the casual player that loves the games and likes to go to a tourney every now and then

Great variety, Keeps me coming back.
I'm a newer listener, only the past 6 months or so. I'm a huge fan of the variety of games covered, mainly 40k/Warhammer Fantasy and so many others are mentioned and discussed regularly. As a wargamer that really speaks to me.
40k fluff and visual appeal is what helped drive me into the hobby. The novel discussions, black library interviews all keep me wanting more.
Thanks guys, don't change.

Good stuff
Consistent and they stay mostly in topic. Love the wall of wonder segments when they get to them. Really enjoy the consistent discussion of all gaming and not just a single thing. Also enjoy the book club stuff. Definitely recommend.

Great variety
Not another show like it: weekly, not too long, covers the hobby and all about positive inspiration. Plus, love the sheer amount of interviews with authors. My favorite part. Give them a listen!

Keep on keepin' on
While there are little things here and there that might be distracting from time to time (that loud intro music, bleeps and blips from Skype in the background, etc.) these guys manage to put together an entertaining show on a weekly basis and touch on topics many gamers should be able to relate to their own experiences. At times it's a little GW heavy, if only because of Kenny's loyalty to those games, yet they still manage to bring up and discuss more obscure games that dedicated omnigamers like myself never hear referenced anywhere else. The show manages to stay away from the annoyingly fanboyish positivity of other shows, yet still also not be a whiny complaint-filled conversation; Kenny and Robert are a joy to listen to on a weekly basis. Keep up the good work, gentlemen!

Great podcast!
It's great that it's not always about what's new and hot at the moment. They don't specify one particular game in this podcast or really 'hate' on any game and for the most part they stay positive about the hobby (no GW rants!.. I think..)

I just found this podcast a couple of weeks ago and it's already one of my favorites. Keep up the great work guys!

Looking for a new 40K podcast?
If you want a 40K centered podcast where they talk rules, armies and strategies... then listen to the 11th Company.
If you want a 40K podcast that discusses everything on the Horus Heresy... then listen to After Ullanor.
If you want a podcast about everything gaming, including 40K, and I mean everything old, new and in between, then give Combat Phase a try.
Rob and Kenny both show their love of the games in their weekly discussion of (insert random gaming topic here).
You'll probably learn something you never knew, or at least remember something you've already forgotten.

Fresh blood!
I started listening around episode 5. Anyone that likes wargaming will definitely enjoy listening to this podcast. I like the fact that they don't concentrate on any one game system. They cover interesting topics and each bring unique perspectives to the table. They don't always agree, but that is one reason I listen to this podcast. So, give it a listen and I believe you will come back for more. Thanks Combat Phase.

Great Social Hobby Podcast
Robert and Kenny have a good chemistry and easy to listen to conversation about the miniatures hobby - specifically Games Workshop and associated products.
This podcast is not heavy into the technical aspects of the hobby on either the rules crunch or painting/modeling but give a nice window into the social aspects of the hobby.
Thaumatology
Amusing and Educational
Amusing characters (Rob, you ARE a character!), plus they cover the "Big Guns" of 40k and WarmaHordes, and then the Wall of Wonder brings in the games we all miss.

Magic Cat, Danger Chicken!!!!
This new podcast is really enjoyable and has been improving by leaps and bounds as the episodes progress. Early audio & editing issues seem to have been largely ironed out.
The content is great. The guys talk about interesting topics, they get good guests and they obviously have a passion for the hobby. I look forward to every new episode.

Kenny and Robert FTW
These two have been delighting me every week so far with their banter. I love their "Wall of wonder" segment where they go over old games that Robert has in his basement. I definitely recommend it to wargamers and I hope more people discover the joy of their weekly news, rumors, and reports.

Kenny and Robert have a great show going with a lot of enthusiasm and energy. I'm always eager to download the next episode and see what they have got on store.

Awesome Wargaming Podcast!
This podcast has become my escape at work and my primary radio station on my way to and from the office. Rob has an ridiculous depth of knowledge on so many games, hence the "Wall of Wonder" segment which has gotten me to do a little research on some of these games I've never heard of. The episode on army storage was great and has really broadened my scope on what my next case might be.
What really pleases me is the mission of this podcast which is to promote and grow the hobby and community. This is not a podcast designed to incite a riot against certain game manufacturers or to sell product from their favorite systems. It's very fairly presented and doesn't come across as a forum for complaints and crying which seems to be all too common these days.
Rob can sometimes switch into what I call "Mr. Big Time Radio Voice" which comes across as incredibly cheesy - often times when dropping a pun or joke. However once on a roll with discussing a topic he's very easy to listen to and you can really tell that he's a bottomless well of information. Kenny sounds like someone having a genuine conversation and despite his own reservations about the sound of his voice, it comes across as very personable and pleasant to hear.
Overall, this is by far #1 podcast right now and you should subscribe and listen to it. Right now! Come on! Do it! Do it now! Get to da choppa!!!!
