Colourful Conversations
Kate Griffiths and Kath Roberts
Colourful Conversations is a podcast that brings to life the work of the Foundation of Colours. A Community Interest Company that focuses on expanding the reach of colour across business, health and wellbeing, and education. It builds on the groundwork laid out in our book Colourful Boardrooms where we outline the changing nature of work and conscious leadership. Your hosts are Kate Griffiths and Kath Roberts. They are both colour therapists, organisational systems coaches and international teachers of colour therapy. Much of their thinking is based on their 8 business principles.

Making love the foundation for everything
In this episode Harold Becker shares how as a free thinker he went on a journey of discovery to understand the essence of love.  After studying many of the wisdom traditions he came to the conclusion that the writings were sharing a similar message and that love is an unlimited way of being.  He reminds us that the past is memory, the future is imagination and all we have is the present moment. Going for Gold
In this episode we are joined by Karen Darke MBE, a modern alchemist who has explored the depths of endurance to take her to the realms of limitless possibility.  We come from a view that there is no such thing as coincidence and Karen highlighted for us how synchronicity has shown up in her life on a number of occasions.  The conversation reveals the cyclical nature of life and the interweave through the connection.  When time slows down and space opens up everything is possible as Karen has discovered for herself. We can all appreciate these magical moments when we slow down and allow the flow to carry us.

Ready steady go: the influence of colour on cars and road safety
This week we hold a conversation with Kevin Vincent, director of the National Transport Design Centre at the University of Coventry.  Kevin has many years experience of running nationally and internationally funded research projects so we had a very Olive Green conversation about how collaboration works.  In Kevin’s view it is about bringing together people with a wide range of talents so that multiple perspectives can be appreciated.  In our book Colourful Boardrooms we developed a set of business principles, one of which covered diversity and suggests that infinite possibilities are possible when we value and recognise others in their wholeness.   Watch this episode to learn more about how colour influences safety and design in the car industry.

A glimpse of the new story in business and education
Following on from the stop start energy of 2024 that we discussed in the previous episode, we consider how you can move from your conditioned self to your enlightened self.  The promise is liberation and there are green shoots emerging.  For example those young people that have opted out of the education system are revealing their Indigo nature of challenging an old paradigm that is defunct.   In business there has been a focus on pace and efficiency and this has had an adverse effect on the culture of organisations.  This has led to a shift that can be seen in all areas of society with a need to model what it is you want to see.  Change comes from being open minded and open hearted.

2024: what's the promise
In this episode find out more about Kate and why she has ended up working with colour.  We explore why you might find yourself repeating the same old patterns rather than living your life on purpose through recognising that you are the creator of your reality.  Everything happens twice: the thought and then what materialises.   Kate weaves in some further information about the colours of 2024 and what they mean energetically to give you some pointers on what how to make the most of  the wood dragon year. Three key themes of this year are abundance, power and collaboration.

Colour: the roadmap to consciousness
In this episode Kate interviews Kath who shares how she got to this point on her journey through life. We explore what the mind actually is and help you understand more about colour consciousness by sharing the meaning behind the three primary colours. At its essence consciousness is a powerful way of honing your intuitive intelligence so you can be more discerning and it starts by acknowledging that we have six rather than five senses.  Kath shows us how life can be a truly colourful creation when we are living in our flow. Join us next week to find out why we are not all living in joy.
