This has become my go- to true crime podcast for when I just have a little bit of time. I like my content factual, centered primarily on the victim/missing person, with not too much speculation or sensationalizing; this one hits those marks. I appreciate how much Ali and Eli empathize with those involved in the cases — it’s obvious how passionate they are about the content — and the openness with which they approach their roles as hosts. The lack of ads really makes the podcast easy to listen to. Give it a try.

I really appreciate all the effort that goes into these episodes. Ali does such great research. I like Eli but his empathy can seem a little over the top at times.

Ali and Eli do a great job of introducing largely unknown cases in a very succinct but factual manner. If you like crime for bedtime, their voices are so soothing and no ads makes this podcast ideal if that’s your thing. Thanks for what yall do to bring awareness to some lesser known cases!

It’s a challenge to do a podcast centered on cases with such little information so I appreciate the commitment. I prefer Ali-only weeks tbh. Those episodes are far more cohesive (and I actually listen all the way through). When Eli joins, they try to relate every victim or scenario back to themself and it takes the focus off the actual victim/case. (Ex: getting ready for high school and carrying a big bag #140). The empathy seems to go from genuine to almost dramatic when Eli joins and the tone shift from the first half feels off. Also, shout out to Ali’s hard work in making sure accurate transcriptions of each podcast are available (not just AI). I’m sure it takes more time than we realize but for a few people, it means a lot. 🩶

Please correct the incorrect spelling you have on the Nefertiri Trader episode. It’s NefertiRi not Nefertiti.

Just found this podcast and am enjoying it immensely. The hosts are very listenable and Ali does a great job with the research and presentation. My favorite thing about the show is that they feature a lot of lesser known cases, most of which I’ve never heard of. These are just as important as the big name cases, and deserve to be heard and hopefully solved.

I like how they jump right in. I like the detail. I love to listen at work. Thanks for the great job guys.

I truly enjoy this husband and wife duo!! You surely have MY ear. Show me watcha “working” with… 😉. The empathetic concern for the victims and others impacted by the crime is so evident. It truly an endearing trait that I feel is required to make a REAL difference.

I listen to many crime podcasts cast and yall are definitely one of my favorites! I love that yall don’t talk a lot before getting right to it. My only complaint is when I hear you say Eli isn’t with us today and not cause I don’t love Ali but I listen while working, I’m a painter, and sometimes I’m yelling questions, when Eli is there he always asks the questions I’m thinking! He like my voice. But I understand he needs his time, just know I miss him on those days! Keep up the good work!!!

This is one of my favorite podcast. Some cases I’ve never heard of so it’s nice that they are doing cases that don’t have a lot of publicity. I love Ali and Eli they have calming smooth voices and you can feel that they care about each case they cover. Keep up the great work!

I am a True Crime listener all day every day, and this is a refreshing podcast. The episodes are short sometimes because the cases are new so there is not as much information, but I hear and feel so much compassion in your voices that I'm fine with that. I get my daily fill and I don't feel guilty, listening to other peoples heartache and pain. Other podcasts do not even try to show this kind of compassion but it seems to come naturally here.

Very glad i stumbled upon this podcast. I’ve listened to about 6 episodes and i really enjoy the hosts voices, the research & the fact that most of the cases I’ve never heard of before.

I didn t think another true crime podcast could bring a fresh look/perspective on unsolved crimes— but this one does and is both interesting and respectful.

I’ve been enjoying this podcast because it has cases I have never heard before and the hosts are easy to listen to.

Just finally started being able to absorb podcasts (thanks audio adhd) so I have been binging the missing ones as I drive around the country on an epic bucket list trip. This one is by far my favorite. The way they both speak respectfully of the victims and give us a glimpse of who they are/were is fantastic. I especially love how many of who they choose are BIPOC, LGTBQAI+ and other marginalized folx and cases we don’t often hear much about. To me these cases are so important because we are not covered as much and our names are forgotten often far sooner than others. I know how Mondays can bite so I made sure to pull over at a rest stop and write one to start yalls week off good (I hope). Keep doing what you do!!

As a person who has a fascination with missing and unsolved cases this is a amazing podcast to listen to I strongly recommend it if you are interested in these topics

I am VERY picky about the podcasts, YouTubers, bloggers, etc. I listen too when it comes to true crime, in particular, cold cases and unresolved missing persons. Ali and Eli have managed to quickly become a favorite podcast for me. They are professional and well-spoken, but most importantly, they always keep humanity and empathy at the center of their retellings and discussions. I appreciate this tremendously, and look forward to every new episode!

I just started listening to your podcast and have been binge listening to catch up. I’m relatively new to podcasts and find yours to be informative and presented respectful of the deceased, missing and their families.

I listen to several podcasts and Cold and Missing is one of my favorites! I love that Ali chooses cases that are less well known and spreads awareness for these families. Eli is always so caring and emotional about the cases which is really sweet. Overall really well done!

I find myself thinking about this podcast and waiting for a new episode every week! I found this originally from being a True Crime fan who saw my old friend Ali started a podcast, and I quickly found myself hooked. Their intentions of helping cold & missing people’s family’s find more peace is amazing. This podcast has an awesome easy listening flow, is full of legit research to the facts or the case, and Ali & Eli’s amazing energy is contagious. I find myself everywhere from being full of suspense, to almost crying, and giggling all in one episode! Keep this going guys! To anyone who hasn’t listened yet, start right now you’ll love it!

Ali’s genuine concern and care of those she covers is incredibly engaging and beautiful. So often the subjects of cold cases are treated as a number or just another puzzle to solve. Not here. Ali brings her subjects to life by painting a beautiful picture of their life before death, as well as highlighting the love of those they’ve left behind. Her curiosity is exciting, and her back and forth with co-host Eli is incredibly sweet and delightful.
