But all is not lost. Rory unexpectedly finds love in a strange place, while Bob, well, Bob finds more ice cream.

The next two episodes see the boys take a deep breath and retell a truly staggering story, rivaling any recent Netflix true crime shocker. If true, it raises profound and difficult questions about Police Scotland, the Scottish judicial system, and how they treat those sworn to protect life and uphold the law. But don’t worry, it’s just another “ truth “according to Bob Moon and Rory MacRae and no one believes them anyway. Part one of "The Truth" introduces the tragic tale of four men drowning in one of Scotland's largest and most forbidding lochs. The aftermath forces Rory to confront astonishing police incompetence, cost cutting  and corruption as he fights desperately to save his job, reputation, and sanity.
