Captain America: Civil War was the official kickoff of phase 3. This film saw the Avengers be torn in two over the Sokovia Accords which put the Avengers under the direct supervision of the United Nations. The film shows the team broken into team Captain America which didn't support the accords and team Iron Man which supported the accords. Team Captain America consisted of Captain America, Winter Soldier, Falcon, Hawkeye, Wanda Maximoff, and Ant-Man. Team Iron Man consisted of Iron Man, War Machine, Black Widow initially, Black Panther, Spider-Man, and Vision.
