This week, we were joined by former Arizona St. Assistant Coach, Rasheen Davis. Coach Davis has had stops at Pittsburgh, Xavier, Manhatten, VCU, UMass and Arizona State during a 13-year coaching career. He has worked under the likes of Jamie Dixon, Chris Mack, Rick Pitino, Bobby Hurley and Steve Masiello. He emphasizes things like loyalty being a 3-way street, handling your situations with class, relationships can't be transactional and much more.

This week, we were joined by Marist College Assistant Coach, Dalip Bhatia. Coach Bhatia joins us just after being named the #1 Assistant Coach in the MAAC Conference by Jeff Goodman. Coach Bhatia navigates us through his route as a non-player through his time in college in the northeast region of the United States. Bhatia emphasizes taking advantage of your lucky breaks, learning from everyone on your staff, serving your head coach and players and much more. Throughout the entire episode, Coach Bhatia gives great gems from young coaches to take with them.

This week, we were joined by BGSU Assistant Coach, Steve Wright. Coach Wright walks us through his journey as a player and coach, that has found him back at his alma mater. He has spent time at the Division I level as a player, support staff and as a coach. He has spent time as a Division II player, NAIA assistant, JUCO assistant and high school head coach. This week, we were joined by Thomas Scott, the head trainer for the Skills Factory and the Director of Basketball Operations for the BIG3. Coach Scott talks about growing up as the son of an NBA player and coach, getting to be around Kobe Bryant, being in the NBA video room, developing players and much more. Coach emphasizes how your character can't changed based on your salary, having one foot in the box and one foot out, and that you need an opportunity to get an opportunity. Coach Scott really hits on the route of getting to the NBA and how to crack the professional business.

This week, we were joined by Ohio University's Head Basketball Coach, Jeff Boals. Coach Boals comes to us with a wide range of stops, leaving him one of the most decorated paths on Coaching Routes so far. Coach talks to us about how the grass isn't always greener, being a lifelong learner, finding coaches to study, making things easier for your head coach and much more.

This week, we are joined by Youngstown State University Head Coach, Jarrod Calhoun. Coach Calhoun comes to us with a plethora of different stops including being a Division I head coach, DOBO and assistant; as well as being a Division II head coach and an NAIA assistant. Only being 38 years old, he is already a national champion and a national runner-up. Throughout the episode, Coach emphasizes being a lifelong learner, coaching AAU, learning from being in the fire and from great mentors, and much more. He also emphasizes that a good handwritten note goes a long way.

This week, we took a step back from our guests to talk about what young coaches can be doing NOW to help themselves crack into the business this spring. We talked all things from watching practice, to writing letters, to emails, to LinkedIn and much more. We think that these few tips will help young guys begin to get creative in their quest to building a network this winter.

This week, we are joined by Rider Assistant Coach, Marlon Guild. Coach comes to us with deep MAAC, where he is entering his 13th season in the league. Coach joins us to talk all things AAU, having recruiting ties, working for ESPN, paying it forward and approaching that coach on the road! He gives us some great stories from learning early on, as well as what his future goals consist of.
