The bumper music as of April 2023 is atrocious while the promo music is excellent and should be integrated into the show. The host is a fantastic investigative journalist whom is unfortunately mired by the format of the show. Currently industry leaders appear on Mad Money to make industry news. The show needs a MAJOR overhaul and fast: Better music, a more open interview format, more segments, and more executive guests a la Barbara Walters to really allow the host to show-off his investigative chops and build a stalwart show for the ages.

I will miss Shep a fellow Rebel. I have followed Shep for years. The way he reported news was balanced. More in-depth then other news programs. I hope you can return somewhere. But we all have to move on sometimes when we do not fit with a company’s vision for the future.

I really loved the news with Shepard Smith. I went through my pandemic era with his news - so sad to hear that it’s canceled. This is so sad. CNBC shouldn’t have axed this show so suddenly. I really hope he continues his show somewhere - maybe podcast. Shepard Smith, your voice gave me hope when pandemic was so dark. As a listener, I was glad to have him as a news anchor who speaks genuinely, in neutral perspective with heart.

I like Shepard Smith but he sure lets his guests off easy. He lets them make excuses rather than confronting them. As a parent, I would never let my children get by with all that excuse making and not taking responsibility for all those bad decisions. I’m not very impressed. No wonder this generation takes no responsibility and wants so much done for them. Sad.

I’m so glad that CNBC brought Shep back to the tv news. It’s refreshing to listen to real news without all the commentary from other “analysts “. Shep tells the honest truth, which is what I want to hear. His reports with field reporters are concise and accurate. There are two TVs in our house and both are tuned in to Shep every week night. I was looking forward to this show because I generally like S.S.’s reporting. However, I find the blatant political bias unnecessary. If I wanted bias disguised as ‘fact’ I’d listen to cnn, msnbc or fox news.

Just heard him say he’s only seen Trump wear a mask twice. I thought he would be unbiased with maybe a slight conservative slant since he has send to be on Fox. Nope. Looks like Shep has gone to the dark side

I’ve heard the ad and was looking forward to this program as it seemed to be unbiased fact based reporting. Nope, it’s basically this guy’s opinion. If I would want to be told what to think I can turn on CNN anytime. Disappointed.

Glad to see he is back reporting. One of the best non biased News reporters on any station. Actually in my opinion the best.

It’s so refreshing to have a legitimate national news show on the air in the evening instead of the political commentary shows that are on CNN, Fox News, and MSNBC during the same time slot. Shepard Smith’s first two shows were a great preview of what’s to come: This program features important news stories that impact our lives and the lives of those around the world. You will never see/hear talking heads and pundits shouting into a camera or interrupting and interrogating each other on this show. This is real news.

So glad you’re back you’ve been missed. You make listening to the news informative and enjoyable. Great journalism, reliable reporting. The best!

Shepherd Smith can pull off a more even-handed view of our current world. We’re not seeing the whole picture of the mail-in voting issue, however, if there is no mention of the problems that have already occurred in NY and PA as well as changes being made in various states to extend the timeframe beyond Election Day for accepting mail-in ballots. There are legitimate concerns about this election, not the least of which is most states have no experience with a majority mail-in system. I’d like the president to tone it down on the issue but I’d also like to hear honesty around the real problems we face with mail-in voting.

Welcome back, Shep! When I used to watch Fox News, I was a fan of yours! I’m glad you’re away from State Run Media and can call balls & strikes objectively without upsetting people. Your perspective & analysis is much needed and a breath of fresh air.

If you’re going to bring up negatives on one side of the isle then bring them up on both. Same with positives. Granted it’s new, and I need to give it more time in order to have a true opinion.

Shepard Smith has so much integrity and humility in a journalist I have ever witnessed . I respected him on Fox and admit Shepard Smith and Chris Wallace, were and now are again my go guys when I need a conservative perspective to keep me honest as a Democrat ...
