Music is a universal language. It is a way for us to express our most vulnerable emotions and at the same time empower us. In the episode we talk about the emotional, psychological, physical, and social power of music. We explore this through the eyes of musical therapist, Tom Sweitzer, and his COVID-19 music therapy support group. We discuss how music, like food, has the power to build community and create strong connections. We also share some of our musical favorites.
