Host is terrible.
I despise the new host. It is clearly all about him. He can’t stop inserting himself into the narrative which is not why I am tuning in. I never really liked the ego maniac that was the original host but at least he didn’t stifle the conversation by touting his credentials like this boob.

No, I didn’t like the interview bashing President Trump, please keep your program about clean tech. I have two electric cars, a 17kw solar system, but I’m not condemning others that don’t. In our electrical district I’m one of two at this point that has a PV system! Yes I voted for President Trump and will again! The U.S. is going more renewable every year regardless of who’s president!!!!

Top Notch

Great podcast
Started a new job and everything you guys discuss is exactly what I need help keeping a pulse on. I thank you for that. I hope we’ll be on your radar soon. The only thing I would recommend is making sure that you all aren’t afraid to challenge each other. There have been a few topics where I wish we got to hear some back and forth with different perspectives, even if it’s just playing devils advocate (most notably a unilateral call for Elon to step down as Tesla CEO, which you made feel “obvious” but his latest stock package suggests some very smart, very wealthy people completely disagree). Thanks again for everything!

Content is good - audio quality needs to be improved
I thoroughly enjoy the podcast with all the solar and EV topics! However I am disappointed at the quality of the audio. Higher quality microphones would fix the tinny sound and the clipping. A pop filter would also make listening far more enjoyable.

I highly commend your work. You offer an entertaining yet authorative analysis and insightful conversation. Not only do you educate most audiences from novices to experts, but provide exciting albeit grounded debate on the impact of the exciting and often futuristic world of clean technology. Your emphasis on addressing with intellectual and moral honesty the triple bottom line, ie., people, planet and profit has become something prescious in this day and age. Your work is a light in the highly confusing and politicized field of clean technologies and sustainability. Thank you for maximizing my very prescious time!

Inspiring, insightful, accurate, honest, awesome
Clean Tech Talks is one of 4 or 5 podcasts I subscribe to and listen to every week. It's full of inspiring stories of great stuff happening around the world, and showcases that no matter what happens in our often tumultuous political environment, the clean tech train has left the station and is on an unstoppable course to create a sustainable future. The case studies, detailed and insightful analysis, and timely topics are awesome conversation starters for me whenever I talk with a friend concerned about the state of the world, and I strongly believe this is the way to empower people to think "yes, we can do this", which thought then becomes reality. Nick and Matthew are awesome--they tell it like it is, are nonjudgmental and do not blow smoke up anyone's arses...we all know we face a lot of challenges, and these guys don't sugarcoat that, but also don't throw pie in the sky ideas around that the world is all of a sudden going to become an ecotopic paradise. But clean tech is the future, and the future is now, and these guys are quickly becoming the leading voices of the most important industry in the world.

Comprehension Skills lacking.
For example, last show, criticism of Tesla "not answering question" about factory production rate, and when they'd hit 10,000 cars a week. Musk answered the question. It's having to do with CAPEX( Capital Expenditure ), and the uptake of the Model 3. In english that means, the current factory isn't built to produce 10,000 cars a week. Maybe 5,000, but it would take additional CAPEX to expand it to get to 10,000. So, if the initoal uptake doesn't reach 5,000 cars from Buyer Demand, then Musk isn't going to build out to 10,000. He'll probably put the money into the Model Y and the Tesla Semi, the Gigafactory or Solar City instead. So, you're hang up on Tesla not giving you the answer you expected clouded you from hearing and understanding the answer given. And what came next in the podcast. The BURN RATE of Tesla's cash horde. So, again Musk is fully aware of the burn rate, the resources he has to produce his goals and Wall Street concern about his production, his CAPEX spending rate, and Wall Street concerns. And that's why he answered the question the way he did. You need to learn to not "predict" the answer and then be disappointed he didn't answer with your "correct" answer. That's not professional reporting. Otherwise, not a bad show.
