We love Classics for Kids!
We love to listen to Classics for Kids at breakfast time. All my kids enjoy listening, but my oldest two (8 and 6) find is especially interesting and fun. It provides the perfect little taste of different composers and their music. Stories are told in a fun and relatable way for kids, but I also enjoy listening and learning even as an adult. I would recommend this podcast to anyone looking to broaden their taste in music and learn about famous composers.

A classical convert
This show has transformed my familyโ€™s listening habits and has lead me to enjoy and appreciate the broad swathe of classical music. Now, we listen to classical all the time at home and even in the car. Classics for Kids also introduced to the world of podcasts for kids, which has been a big help in home education. Such a great showโ€”informative, entertaining, and a great listen.

Letโ€™s learn about women composers!
My 7-year old loves listening and learning about the classics through this this podcast. She did ask me today, though, why they only talk about men composers. :-)

As a music teacher, I love this podcast. I listen to it withy my four year old son, who loves music and learning about music. Iโ€™ve recommended this to my students (3rd-6th grades), but itโ€™s really a great podcast for anyone who likes classical music.

We ( my 7 year old and I ) listen in the car and at home 3 times a week. We love the host and the variety of topics. It brings more connection and appreciation when listening to classical radio. Finally I know the names and melodies to composers and their music! Thank you!!

Not Just For Kids
What little I know about music and composers I learned from 15 years of listening to Classics for kids. Many are reruns and I happily listen to them again and again.

Great for kids
I love to play this while my littles are busy playing. I enjoy it and I think they enjoy the music. As they get older I expect they will understand more, but music appreciation canโ€™t start too early.

Excellent Homeschool Resource
I discovered this podcast just a month or two ago. Iโ€™ve been blown away with the value of your program. We learn something new with each and every episode and have fun in the process! That is a big win in our homeschool. My 5 and 10 year olds are now in love with ragtime due to the last few episodes. We also used some older episodes to review Vivaldi. The best part was the description given of the identifying marks of Baroque. Now they are noticing those features in other pieces of music, artwork and even call certain gaudy flowers โ€œBaroque Flowersโ€. I love it! Thank you for putting together such a wonderful resource. Youโ€™re motivating families to expand their musical horizons and have been a breath of fresh air for our homeschool. Best wishes! Leah Massey Our Habitat Home

Fabulous musical exposure
For anyone wanting to learn more about music, musicians and musical history this is a wonderful podcast. At about 5 minutes a podcast it gives you a lot chew on and enjoy. My children and I enjoy this together and I sometimes listen to it on my own as well. My two year old will dance and my bigger kids will say, โ€œIโ€™ve heard this!โ€ Or โ€œThis is new.โ€ We love Classics for Kids!

Music teacher gives it an A
I love these little nuggets of knowledge! As a music teacher Iโ€™m always seeking out new information and musical ideas I can share with my students! This is a great resource for professional enrichment and great music! Thank you!

Volume too low
Great length, great topics, great mix of spoken and music. Volume is much lower than other podcasts in my line-ups. This keeps me from listening as often as iโ€™d like.

At 32, I still love this just as much as I would have as a child
The history of composers and classical music has fascinated me from a very young age! It is so awesome to get a weekly short show that spot lights the music and the people behind it in an incredibly interesting non-academic way.

Great for adults too
Interesting and concise lessons on classical music. The simplicity of it is refreshing, I've not found anything quite as well done for adults...but this does the trick for me!

Love and enjoy it!
Best 6 minutes spent in the week. I would download daily if it was possible. My 4 and 8-year old and the rest of the family can't wait for every new episode. I plan to introduce our music school to this resource. Keep up the good work!

Fun music education for 3 to 103!!
This is one of the best podcast on music and music history I have been able to find. I have enjoyed learning about music styles and have really been wrapped up in the stories about the composers. I can't wait for each podcast!

Fun and Entertaining
My kids have been listening to this via the web for almost a year now, and they still look forward to it every week! Short, to the point, and engaging for the kids...my age group is from 5 to 12, so good for all ages. Great info from a classical viewpoint!
