Welcome again to another bombastic, emotionally overpowering episode of Cinema Small Talk. On this week's episode, Pat & Matt talk music.  Specifically, music in movies.  Soundtracks, Scores, Nicolas Cage's screams - the aural excitement that makes movies truly magic. We recap our  favorite scores, our favorite soundtracks, and our favorite composers.  In a shocking twist, John Williams? Not featured.  How about that??? It's not true, but it'd have been wild if it was!

On this week's episode, we wrap up our Star Wars talk (for know) and discuss the Disney-era Star Wars films.  The force awoke, the Jedi went from first to last, and the Stormtroopers learned to fly. Did you know they fly now? They fly now.  We also talk Rogue One and Solo. Time for your occasional reminder that Woody Harrelson was in a Star Wars movie!  Anyway, join in, and let's wrap this up with a bit more enthusiasm than in the paragraphs above!

Greetings, fans of us (you know who you are).  If you liked last week's prequel appetizer, it's time for the galactic main course. That's right, from a long long time ago, the original trilogy of Star Wars!  We're talking mercenaries, chosen ones, warlords, magical swords, rebellions, and kissing siblings. It's like Benioff and Weiss already did their Star Wars trilogy!  So settle in, gear up, and don't let anyone drop a Macklunky on you.

Oh God.  Here it is.  We did it.  We finally did it. That's right, we're talking Star Wars friends!  To quote Randy Newman - "Space is the place for...Star Wars!" We've held back, we knew it was coming, you knew it was coming.  In preparation for Episode IX, we're going to be talking each of the major trilogies, plus a splash of those other things. Today you lucky listeners get to hear us talk about the prequels.  A surprisingly, positive(?) discussion.  So sit back with your favorite Binks, relish the sand between your toes, and get a big whiff of bantha poodoo.

Top Gun 2! Obi-Wan! Blade! Witcher! Cats! Terminator Dark Fate!...wait.... That's right, we're talking about the big news drops of the summer!  We felt it necessary for this news to mature, like a fine wine. Or, in the case of Terminator, a rotting corpse. Too much?  Apologies, go watch the Cats trailer to brighten your spirits. Oh, and we talk the Spiderman mess, but that's now...not a thing? Nothing to see here.  Carry on.

2019!  What  a year! Can't believe it's already been another trip around the sun! Wait, so it's only October? We have two more months to go?  Well that's a disappointment. What's not a disappointment is all the kick-ass movies we've seen this year!  What IS a disappointment is all the lame-ass movies we've seen this year!  That's right, we look back at the first 10 months of this year and discuss what we've loved, what disappointing us, and what left us filled with regret (it was the new Godzilla). We also look ahead to the last two months of the year, where it seems all of the good movies have been hiding. So sit back and enjoy this pumpkin-spiced episode and pretend it's not 1000 degrees out.

Hey! Hi! Yes, we're back!  What, thought we were dead?  HOW DARE YOU.  Podcasting is hard.  Aligning schedules is even harder.  After all, we do need to WATCH the movies we TALK about to make YOU happy.  All your fault, you terrible people we love so much. Today we talk death, or more specifically, our most memorable movie deaths.  A villain getting what they deserve?  A hero dying like a badass saving a bunch of ungrateful pricks?  A tear-jerking loss that emotionally eviscerates anyone who's watching?  We got it all baby! So sit back as we live free, die harder.

 Yes we're back!  Sorry for the delay, but winter came and now Pat & Matt are White Walkers.  It's a pain in the ass really, but we'll persevere and podcast stronger and better than any living meatbag ever could!  So yeah, Game of Thrones huh?  We know, it's technically a "movie" podcast and GoT is technically a "television" show, but who cares!  We don't!  What we do care about, is good entertainment, and whoo boy GoT sure provided some.  Matt & Pat look back at the entire series, including the controversial final season.   So come along, with any luck this episode will turn out better than a child by a window in a room full of Lannisters.
