Greetings, CIMSA! Data from the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) found that the number of diabetes sufferers in 2021 in Indonesia has increased rapidly in the last ten years. This number is estimated to reach 28.57 million in 2045 or 47% greater than the number of 19.47 million in 2021. In the world, diabetes kills more than one million people every year - and anyone can be affected. This disease occurs when the body cannot process all the sugar (glucose) in the bloodstream; causes complications that can cause heart attacks, high blood pressure, blindness, kidney failure and lower limb amputation.
