The data, thorough and recent, drives the guests they host and the topic of conversation. I lead a church with a multi site, micro church vision, and I get just as much out of the content as those leading churches of hundreds or thousands. They’re not presenting theories to try, they’re showing what’s happening with research and asking leading practitioners in those areas what we can do.

Love hearing the new facts every week. Guests are decent adds too.

This podcast has given me insight week after week in how to lead in constant changes. Thankful for people like Carey and David who are devoted to sharing difficult information to help the church make necessary pivots.

I was really hopeful for this podcast and still occasionally glean interesting things from it, but (like much of generic evangelicalism) there is no discussion of the nature or definition of the church or what a pastor is. Without that the interpretation of the data is unhelpful.

I’ve listened the past two months and have been encouraged, challenged, and ministered to in many ways! I thought I was on an island (and I mean that in the worst way; not a sabbatical 😂)

Everything about this is timely, diverse and equipping for church leaders

As an associate pastor of Arabic/European descent I am listening. I want to engage in helping to turn our Christian culture to understand and do something about this deep problem of racism. I’m listening, but not sure what steps to take now. What practical things can I do in my mostly white church to bring reconciliation? How can I stop the abuse? Thank you for opening up my eyes to see a little more clearly. I also want be engaged.

This was an excellent program. It help me determine the direction that I have been following coming through this COVID-19 pause—The Abiding Life— is the right direction God is appointing me to follow for the unforeseeable future.
