Defining the Trinity The Trinity Defined… There is one God The Father is God The Son is God The Holy Spirit is God 2. Defending the Trinity If Jesus isn’t God, His death did not atone for your sins. If Jesus isn’t God, you cannot be justified by faith in Christ. If Jesus isn’t God, He cannot answer your prayers. If the Holy Spirit isn’t God, you cannot trust His leading. Without the Trinity, there were no personal or intimate relationships before Creation. 3.
