Dennis Hall and his guest Justin Bohner, Assistant Pastor, First Baptist Church, Highlands, NC begin this podcast by reviewing the barbaric atrocities against innocent Israeli citizens on October 7. This attack was led by a terrorist group known as Hamas that have a stated goal of eradicating Jews. Israel responded militarily and have gone to great lengths to protect innocent civilians, that Hamas uses as human shields. Shockingly in the United States, tens of thousands of young people have marched in the streets and on campuses in support Hamas and the Palestinians. These two pastors analyze the demonic nature of this outpouring of sympathy for these barbaric acts. They discuss the Marxist socialist thought that exists on university campuses that has resulted in an attitude of destruction, meaning everything deserves to perish. This attitude of tearing down and dismantling stories, histories, heroes and heroines, and all the proverbial wisdom of the past is now coupled with postmodern unconstrained individualism. Some refer to this demonic movement as a culture of death. This explains why many of America’s young people have no qualms about Palestinians slaughtering babies. The cult of the victim mentality is analyzed and used as a reason for the support of the Hamas barbarians. These two pastors remind us that America remains a God-fearing center-right country with people who have a deep reservoir of commonsense. They conclude by expressing confidence that Americans will overcome the demonic irrational wokeness that is gripping America. Can also be seen on YouTube at:https://youtu.be/eDxQB2OeouE

Dr. Dennis Hall and his guest Dr. Jay Powell, Senior Pastor of the Church at the Beach, Panama City Beach, Florida discuss the characteristics of Christian fundamentalists and evangelical Christians. They point out that these labels are considered negative descriptions by much of society. The newly elected House Speaker, Mike Johnson, has been labeled as an extreme Christian fundamentalist who should scare everyone in his role in the House of Representatives. Mike Johnson has a long history of working to support conservative Christian values in the legislative processes. Johnson refers to himself as a Bible-believing Christian. His admission to using the Bible as his guide for life has brought him much criticism. It is ironic that almost all of our past presidents have quoted the Bible. Hall and Powell point out that leadership isn’t what the world thinks it is. God uses broken men and women, redeemed by His Son to become ambassadors to the world. God is calling all of us to be leaders and influencers. We cannot be an influencer for God and Jesus unless our life is led in a way that we can be trusted. The podcast ends by reminding the listeners to be sincere about their faith in Jesus and others will see his image in you. Can also be seen on YouTube at:https://youtu.be/bg1CTBkM8GA

There are many in this world who seem confused and even discouraged about the purpose of their life. Dr. Dennis Hall dispels the idea that God created man because he was lonely or that mankind filled some godly need. He discusses God's self-sufficiency and how God described himself to Moses. Dr. Hall points out that God created us because it pleased him to do so. God created us in his image, meaning that he placed within us a spirit, a soul, and the capacity to love so that he can have a relationship with us. All people have a common purpose, which is to bring glory to God. We bring glory to God by worshiping Him, obeying his commandments, and showing his love to others. Why God created man's capacity to disobey, and sin is explored. Dr. Hall points out that we exist to bring our lives into alignment with God’s overflowing, exalting soul-satisfying love. He concludes this podcast by telling the listeners that they will be restless, confused, or lacking in fulfillment until they begin living in line with God’s purpose for creating them. Dr. Dennis Hall begins this podcast by examining feelings of hate and describing the differences between anger and contempt. He explains how studies have demonstrated that hate can spread from one generation to another more easily than anger. Studies have also shown that hate can develop from stories told by others and be just as intense as if they had experienced it themselves. Hate crimes in the U.S. are discussed, especially the significant increase in hate crimes against Jews. The murder of Mary Fagan and the lynching of Jewish businessman Leo Frank is discussed as an example of anti-semitism. Dr. Hall suggests that anti-semitism began after The Ten Commandments were given to the nation of Israel. He points out how the Christian world blamed Jews for the crucifixion of Jesus contributing to anti-semitism. Some of the myths and falsehoods about Jewish people are discussed. The discrimination against Jews is reviewed. The podcast ends with Dr. Hall asking listeners to pray for Israel and the victims of the war on Israel. Dr. Dennis Hall discusses the devastating assault on Israel by the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas. He describes the Gaza Strip where 2 million Palestinians live. Israel is then described in stark contrast to the living conditions of the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. The reasons that Israel is considered the Holy Land by Muslims, Jews, and Christians is explored. If you are a God-believing follower of Jesus Christ, Dr. Hall outlines the reasons that you should care about the nation of Israel. He focuses on the covenant that the prophet Abraham had with God. In this covenant, God promised to give to Abraham and his people the whole land of Canaan, modern-day Israel. Dr. Hall states that it was God who formed the nation of Israel. He briefly reviews the history of the Jewish people from Old Testament days to contemporary times. Dr. Hall closes the podcast by pointing to the apostle Paul’s words in Romans 11:13-18. Paul pointed out that God wants his chosen people, the Jews to become jealous of the salvation made available to Gentiles. In other words, beyond just caring for and about the Jewish people, believers in Jesus Christ are called to provoke the Jewish people to godly jealousy. This is a responsibility that the Gentile believers carry, one that has been entrusted to them by God. In this current war on Israel, we must pray for this nation and the victims of this current conflict. Can also be seen on YouTube at:https://youtu.be/oLrUVcDenl0

Ordained minister, Dr. Dennis Hall, asks the question, “Where is God?” He proceeds to explain God’s all-powerful and all-knowing nature which leads us to say that He is sovereign over the universe. How man’s free will fits into this theological puzzle is explored. Dr. Hall makes the point that mankind’s free choices are just as necessary for the true sovereignty of God as His ability to enact his will whenever and however He chooses. Dr. Hall points out several reasons for us to be celebrating God’s sovereign rule. There are a number of reasons that God permits suffering which all relate to the expansion of his kingdom. God even uses suffering to wake up a sleeping church to take risks for God. Examples are given to demonstrate how suffering can serve to create opportunities to be a witness for Christ’s suffering. Dr. Hall ends the podcast with several thoughts from Scripture, concluding that the joy of suffering for Christ’s sake makes the supremacy of a sovereign God shine more clearly than all of our gratitude for any wealth. Ordained minister, Dennis Hall and his guest, Pastor Geroge Whirley, New Creation Restoration Church and Prison ministry, Indianapolis, Indiana discussed the Holy Spirit and the role that the Holy Spirit plays in the lives of the followers of Jesus. When a person believes in Christ, the Holy Spirit immediately becomes a permanent part of their life. “Those who are led by the spirit of God are the children” (Romans 8:14). How one knows the difference between their own thoughts and the spirit’s leading is explored. The parameters of spiritual warfare, wickedness, and corruption are outlined. On the spiritual battlefield, we need to know our enemy. We need to understand the battlefronts. Accepting ourselves for what we are is critical in this battle. Our weaknesses need to be identified and the biggest ally on the spiritual battlefield is the Holy Spirit. These two pastors provide some concrete ideas about walking in the spirit each day. The podcast concludes by acknowledging that Christians who walk in the fullness of the spirit still have problems. But when we are walking in the spirit our problems can be faced with a calm and confident attitude because of God’s divine resources which are available to his followers. Dr. Dennis Hall discusses how God has fine-tuned the human body through the creation of our senses. He focuses on the sense of touch that is made possible by the neural receptors in our skin. All of the things that our skin can tell us about pain, temperature, injury, and textures is outlined. He then turns his attention to things that can go wrong with our sense of touch. Human beings are wired to be touched. Dr. Hall addresses what's psychologists call skin hunger and what happens when we don't experience adequate physical touch. He points out that there is another meaning to touch that's more than physical. It is emotional and spiritual. Many have had their souls touched by God's love and grace. The Scripture speaks of man having their hearts touched by God, and when Jesus was here he touched many including the eyes of the blind, ears of the deaf, the tongues of the dumb, and he healed all of them. The touch of God is an actual touch. It is a real connection. Dr. Hall concludes the podcast by pointing out how awesome it is to have your heart touched by God, and that you can experience this by being open and desiring the touch of God. UFOs, aliens, and extraterrestrials are the subject of this podcast hosted by Dr. Dennis Hall. He points out that scientists have been trying to make contact with extraterrestrial civilizations since 1974 and that 65% of Americans believe intelligent life exists outside the earth. His current interest in this subject was sparked by the hearing conducted by the US Congress on UFOs in July. The Catholic Church and Protestant churches have left the question of extraterrestrials and unsettled question. Dr. Hall emphatically states that he does not believe that extraterrestrials will ever be found and that they do not exist, based on the word of God. He points out that the Bible teaches that Jesus died on the cross to redeem the brokenness of mankind on, earth, and that there is nothing to indicate that this sacrifice applies to intelligent extraterrestrials on other planets. Some suggest perhaps aliens may not need redemption. Some suggest that perhaps God has he been incarnated on alien planets to provide redemption in those worlds. Some respond by suggesting that perhaps extraterrestrials could have their own way to God that is different from the paths humans have to God. Christians know that Jesus taught us, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the father is except through me.” It is clear that Jesus is talking about the earthly Savior, not some extraterrestrial being. The biblical story of end times does not make room for extraterrestrial beings. Dr. Hall spends some time talking about the fine tuning of the earth and universe to make life possible. The podcast concludes by pointing out that the greatest miracle of all time is the universe. The miracle of all miracles, one that points with the combined brightness of every star to something beyond itself, God. God created the earth that is so finely tuned that it could support human beings who would worship him. God’s biblical plans and science prove that extraterrestrials will never be anything more than a figment of imagination. Can be heard on all podcast search engines.
