This week I am joined from across the pond by Crystal (known on Instagram as @double.ostomy.gal) to discuss her experience with Crohn's disease, battling Sarcoma cancer and life with two stoma bags.

This week I am joined by Susie Bannister to discuss dating and intimacy with a disability. The 26-year-old has a stoma bag as a result of a condition called VACTERL that causes vertebral defects, anal atresia, cardiac defects, tracheo-oesophagal fistula, renal anomalies, and limb abnormalities.

Holly has Ulcerative Colitis and Olivia has Crohn's Disease, but the two young women share common ground when it comes to their traumatic experiences of being diagnosed and treated. Both women have undergone emergency surgery to create a stoma bag due to rapidly worsening symptoms and now want to raise awareness to let others know they are not alone.

Chris Johnson was diagnosed in 2019 with cancer and by 2020 he discovered it had spread to his liver and was incurable. Instead of taking a moment's pause, he has continually raised money for children living with cancer by taking part in gruelling physical challenges. Next year he has already signed up to take part in both the Manchester Marathon and Great North Run. Chris will also climb three of the highest peaks in England and prove to everyone that life carries on despite a cancer diagnosis.

Angharad Paget Jones, known as @AngieBeatDown on Twitter, shares her shocking encounter with Premier Inn that went viral. The data analyst was accused by the budget hotel of "faking" her blindness and was promptly kicked out of the premises alongside her beloved guide dog, Tudor in the middle of the night. Since then the hotel chain has issued an apology, but Angharad is yet to be convinced as she opens up on her experiences living with a disability.

Jordy, known as @ItsJordysWorld on TikTok, takes us through her treatment-resistant Crohn's Disease from the age of nine and how it led her to need an urgent stem cell transplant at the age of 24.
