Welcome to the podcast. Over the next few episodes, we’re going to take a look at some practical Christian Living principles from the Bible. In this episode we’ll take a look at Psalm 37 to learn how we can gain rest and peace in God. Join us! PODCAST INTRO Overview of topic – We are living in times where there is an unprecedented amount of rapid change happening. Change is never easy. But in the past things moved at a slower pace. Change seemed to be more gradual. Communication wasn’t as “instant” as it is today, so global changes were implemented over a longer period of time. Today, one email or social media post can cause massive change or disruption in minutes. For many people, including me, living in a state of peace and rest today is a bigger challenge. So many distractions and things grabbing for our attention.  Everything seems to be URGENT. So, as Christians, how can we live with a sense of peace and rest in the midst of all the turmoil? How can we gain the rest and peace that God promises in His Word? God has led me to Psalm 37. I’ve been living there daily for the past few months and thought you might also benefit from the insight and experience that God has given me for my personal life. Let’s go to Psalm 37. I’m going to only read a few verses, but these are key verses that each include a promise from God. We’ve broken it down on the Download Scripture Reference PDF below.
