I found this show as it was covering the Nicean Creed. I have loved listening to it ever since. In fact I could have easily been seen on my mower listening to it through my headphones. My faith hit a snag though and I began to approach my faith through purely intellect and had felt disconnected from many of my brothers and sisters. However through the series Back to Basics it has refreshed my soul on the simplicity and beauty of the Gospel and even delving into deeper topics. My girlfriend had little knowledge about what the Gospel was (she knew that Jesus saved her though) and the mechanisms behind it alluded description for her. So I introduced her to the BTB miniseries and she hasn’t stopped listening to it. A great show that is deep enough for a child to swim and an elephant to drown.

I love how Nick spells things out in a way that both new and mature Christians can benefit from. He gets to the point, is articulate and thoughtful, and doesn’t ramble—as a busy mom with not much free time, this is a must! Loving this podcast! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

These episodes brought so much clarity on this topic. Over the years many other people/podcasts have tried to covered Halloween but all of them left me with more questions than answers. Nick was so thorough and approached the topic from all angles. These episodes were extremely helpful for me and answered each question and concern that I had! I also really appreciated that he laid out the different positions people usually take and which position he personally takes. Highly recommend!

Nick puts in the work. He is fair and even-handed in his treatment of doctrinal issues, careful to distinguish primary doctrines of the Christian faith from the lesser secondary and tertiary. Nick’s love for God, His Word, and His Church is evident and edifying.

My understanding of Christian history and doctrines has grown so much since I started listening to this podcast. The effort Nick puts in to studying various topics surrounding Christian faith and practice has resulted in a podcast that is richly informative, minimally biased (because we all have our biases!) and loaded with cited sources for deeper study. If you want your ears tickled, this podcast is not for you. If you expect to hear tired, unfounded claims about Christian holidays, denominations or doctrines parroted back with no evidence, this podcast is not for you. But if you’re teachable and open to being wrong about your preconceptions and assumptions, you’ll be deeply blessed by Christ is the Cure. Keep up the good work Nick!

Nick is the real deal. Faithful to scripture and loves the facts of church history. He does the research so you don’t have to.

The thing I love so much about this podcast is the amount of work they put into research and articulating biblical topics in a way that is both educational and easy to understand. I appreciate the cited sources for further reading and I appreciate the amount of time that is taken to create quality content. When someone asks me to recommend a stellar Christian podcast, this is the first one that comes to mind. I really appreciated in particular the episodes they did with the Christmas and Easter holidays, I found them very interesting and informative.

Anyone that leaves a negative review here is honestly doing it without reason. The truth is, Nick covers all of the hard topics that other podcasts run from. He’s smart and stands for truth and doesn’t compromise when the pressure of false movements increases. He stands firm and doesn’t let the pressure of the world motivate the direction of his ministry. Hands down, one of the hardest working and educational ministries you can find.

Great podcast for theologically sound teachings from a man who dares in a man centered culture to glorify Christ alone in his teachings. Great solid biblical information that makes you think and demand more of yourself in your own study. Grab a coffee and some free time - shoot even grab a pen and paper cuz you’ll want to take notes- and give him a listen. Sometimes your eyes will be opened and sometimes you may even not always agree, but it doesn’t disregard the ministry this podcaster is doing. Great stuff and love to listen!

I know it can be tough to find solid podcasts amidst the sea of false teaching and glorified pep-talks labeled “Christian” on this app but this podcast is SOLID. Nick and the CITC discuss topics in a scripture-soaked, straightforward and interesting way. Definitely worth a listen! I have been listening for over a year now, and I appreciate the depth they reach while making understandable to the layperson. You want regret giving this podcast a listen whether you start with the first one or the latest one. P. S. - I suggest his interview episodes because it shows you how well rounded and gospel centered he while still discussing differ viewpoints or hard topics.

Christ Is The Cure is hands down one of my favorite podcasts to listen to. I love how well researched Nick is and how prepared and organized he is for each episode. I also love the broad range of theological topics he covers. From Church History to Calvinism to Sanctification to False Teachers-he covers it all! I love to learn new things and that is something that happens every single episode. Nick is also fair and balanced in his coverage of theological positions that he may not adhere to. There’s no emotionally biased responses, but rather fact based analysis of all sides of a theological topic. This is refreshing because not everyone does this. Great podcast!

I love listening to Nick, he really puts a lot of study, time and effort into it. I learn something new with with each podcast. I feel like there are so little Biblically sound people to listen to, so when I found these I was really excited. Can’t wait for him to have some new content!

I really enjoy Christ is the Cure. My only complaint is there aren’t more episodes, but that shows the amount of time Nick puts into each episode. It is obvious he prepares and considers all that he shares. I usually listen to each episode multiple times because there is so much information. Great podcast, I recommend subscribing.

I have been listening to Nick for almost two years now and he is still my favorite to listen to! He caries himself very well and obviously has a deep and genuine love for Christ and His Word. This is a great place where I come to help expand my knowledge, and get more topic ideas I can expand with on my own as well! I recommend him to almost every brother and/or sister I meet!

Great source of theological information!

Who is Nick? He is a humble man of God will seeks to edify the body of Christ through the word of truth. He is a skilled miner. He starts from the surface of the earth and digs. He digs until he find precious stones: rubies, sapphires, onyx. Persistent in his endeavors, he digs deeper into the heart of theology; uncovering emeralds, silver, and gold. Not satisfied, he ventures into the unknown where he loosens diamonds from the caves, flowing from the walls of the text. The more he finds, the deeper it drives him. This and much more is what you will receive when listening to this podcast. It is God honoring, Christ centered, and Christ exalting.

Been listening to Nick’s podcast for about six months now. I’m thankful that I came across his Instagram which led me to the podcasts. I appreciate the variation of topic he touches on from heresy, church history, theology and the list goes on and on. It’s been very edifying to listen and also the guests he invites on to teach and chat with are a blessing as well. Still don’t how he juggles this podcast, his website, personal study, husband duties, fatherly duties and vocation 🤔🤔. The man’s a beast and a blessing. SDG.

I’m very late with this review but I think it’s important to share why this podcast is worth listening to. Nick is a personal friend of mine and to watch his transformation from being an atheist to becoming a follower of Christ has been incredibly powerful. He spends hours upon hours pouring over the Word and meticulously researching the deeper meanings of the original language (though he’d never tell you that), and does his best to accurately share the truth of scripture. It’s pretty unlikely that we’ll all agree on every detail of our faith, but this podcast is a resource that will enlighten you, make you think, and point you towards to God of the Bible. That itself is worth listening to.

I love this podcast! I appreciate that Nick is so good at sharing all sides of what topic(s) he is discussing... it helps me to retain the information! I specifically love that she shares on subjects that aren’t widely discussed and he does it in a way that is easy to understand (church history, Gnosticism, etc). It is easy to tell that he thoroughly does his homework and works to provide good content and graphics!

Nick Campbell is a loving filled with wisdom follower of a God. He is extremely organized, provides clear, concise historical and Biblical information. Imagine you are flying through various historical points and Biblical verses, and through this journey Nick is floating on a cloud explaining contextual Biblical verses and common hard-to-tackle topics.
