I thought to myself “oh here we go, another self- help podcast”... eye roll... but then was SOO refreshed/relieved to hear you speak about God! I work as a psychotherapist. the knowledge of selfhelp + psychology is great but I know I can’t do this life on my own n there’s God who is much bigger and without Him I couldn’t work work in trauma care. Carrie’s podcasts have truly BLESSED me! I am going through my sixth year of cancer treatment for breast cancer. There are side effects too many to list! I’ve felt like throwing in the towel so many times!!! So glad a friend suggested these podcasts because I feel like I can go on LIVING with PURPOSE again!
