The Chatting in the Shade podcast covers a myriad of topics so that people can learn, evolve, ask questions, laugh, and share. How else are we to evolve? Had my good friend Tom come to talk on the podcast last week. We went over topics such as modern music, the classics of rock, pop, rap, and many others, and if they were worth listening to. About an hour into the chat, we began talking about whether artists who make good art but do bad things in their personal lives should make us feel guilty for consuming said art. That led to a deeper conversation on politics and prejudices in general. In the end, should we feel guilty for liking Pantera since the vocalist is a racist/nazi? Can we separate the art from the artist? And if we can, should we?

Chatting in the Shade Ep. 3 - Mental Health, Personal Experiences and more with Skitzo and Howland82
This podcast was live on Twitch on January 29th, 2020 Have any questions, comments or feedback? Want to share your own story? Comment below and I will get to them! The Chatting in the Shade podcast covers a myriad of topics so that people can learn, evolve, ask questions, laugh, and share. How else are we to evolve? Had two beautiful souls on the podcast for this episode. Howland is a licensed counselor and provided wonderful insights. Skitzo is a great person who has overcome so so much and is a great example in this sea of bad examples we see every day. We shared experiences with mental health and provided support for each other. We were open about anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, drug abuse, and other conditions. Talking and disseminating the information is the only way we can help win these battles. No one is alone with what they feel; there will always be hundreds, thousands, millions of people who feel the same way, the same symptoms. It's not just a meme, it's not just a fad, and it should not only be talked about when someone takes their life. There's a reason it should be talked about BEFORE then. Had my great friend Jonny as a guest for this podcast. He is originally from Brazil and moved to Spain at the age of 12, whereas I am originally from NJ and moved to Brazil at the age of 12. In this podcast, we talked about the cultural differences, pros, cons, and everything in between of moving to a new country at a young age. An important distinction we also made was moving FROM a more developed country into a less developed one and vice-versa.

Had these 3 amazing women on the channel to share their perspectives on being gamers and streamers as women. Learned a lot, laughed a lot. It was definitely an incredible experience and I feel so lucky to have had the chance to hear from them. There are so many things men don't even imagine or know women go through when they game/stream. This talk can help enlighten people of all ages and genders.
