On the main show this week, the sleep-deprived perpetual slumber-partiers gush (both figuratively and literally) over chapters 5 and 6 of Lost Girls. Honestly, at this point we're just waiting for the cleverness and nuance to falter, or for the art to misstep even once. It just isn't happening. Everyone in the world has been watching the wrong Wonder Woman movie. Feminist triumph? Professor Marston and the Wonder Women. Acting tour-de-force across the board? Masterpiece? See above. ​​​​​There's no way to sum up the praise Bird and Max have for this film. They recommend it unreservedly, to everyone. Beyond that: tune in, Mad Chatters!

By now you know: Wonder Woman was not our favorite movie ever. But we've got a few nice things to say about the flick, and a lot of them are in this second half of our marathon review of what should have been the feminist triumph of the century. Should have been, but fell short, and crashed into the sea.
