Point of this I AM saying is that in contrast to all other Shepherds [leaders], Jesus Christ is the only true shepherd, who knows his sheep personally, lays down his life for them willingly, and is the one and ONLY door through which all those who enter will be saved eternally.

Jesus says that the Pharisees, thinking they belong to the Father who is God actually belong to their Father the Devil. If they had belonged to God their response to Jesus would have been to love him. Jesus says this is all because 'his word finds no place in them'. Does His word find a place in you to dwell richly?
