This week we have an episode different from what we normally do. We spoke with our assistant Monisha Shah, back in August of 2017 when we met to talk CTP. We spoke to her how she re-connected with her culture via joining a sorority & minoring in South Asian & Women Studies during her undergrad. We also talk about the nuances within the desi community & end up chatting about the white supremacist rally that took place in Virgina. Listen in as we shoot the shit.
As always, music has been provided by the ultra groovy Kaly. Be sure to check out his latest project "AntiSocial". kalymusic.com.

We had the wonderful pleasure of speaking to producer, writer, & author, Sri Rao. He wrote the film Baar Baar Dekho of Kala Chashma fame & is currently developing a show for ABC with Madhuri Dixit & Priyanka Chopra. From Pennslyvania to Bollywood, Sri's first big gig was producing the hit movie New York, starring Katrina Kaif, John Abraham, Neil Nitin Mukesh, and Irrfan Kahn. Listen in as we talk about intra-cultural haters, faux Bollywood fans, the cache of being an outsider, and being a kindergarten playwright.
