In this episode we are honoured to have Ruby Padwick who shares her emotional story and journey with body dysmorphia and abusing her body with laxatives. Ruby really does give us the honest and painful reality in this episode to which I was so grateful. She shares with us a story that I'm sure sadly many can relate to. The best part about it though is that she has turned it all around and although sometimes struggles with certain stigma's and expectations from being in the fitness industry she has such a positive attitude and mentality and no longer "hates" her body but loves it.Ruby and I discuss the following topics:Her career What role fitness plays in her lifeThe pressures of the fitness industryBody DysmorphiaDiet Eating disorders and the affect it has on your relationshipsLaxative abusePeriodsOptimal 4Holistic HealthPlant-BasedTo follow Ruby in her journey check her out on Instagram - @rubypadwick Optml4 - @optml4 - personal training and lifestyle optimisationTo find out more about becoming a Greedy Vegan head to our Website or follow us on Instagram or Tik Tok @greedyveganltd Hosted on Acast. This week I am joined by Hugh and Hywel, two Bristol University Graduates that identified a gap in the cereal market whilst at University. Undergoing market research, experimenting in their kitchen and combing their passions for Sport, Fitness and Nutrition resulted in the creation of ELEAT. In this episode I speak to Hugh and Hwyl about the following:- Their journey to ELEAT- How they launched three months ago and are already in Planet Organic- How they are competing against the others in the market- What performance cereal even means- How ELEAT really is for everyone and not just the athlete's or regular gym go-ers.Both Hugh and Hwyl have so much passion for ELEAT and the industry which is so infectious.
