The time has come! As a Law Enforcement Officer i had always felt that the topic just didn't apply to me. In recent weeks i couldn't help but ponder the idea..what if my son did not come home...or what he was shot by mistake by the police. Wearing the wrong clothes can draw a target but also the color of his skin could one day play a role in future nightmares. I can say that i do the best i can when it comes down to informing my children of the dangers outside the home and i pray that i never get that call and its my son on the ground.
