Clearly information regarding the cause of the whistleblower’s choice to share what happened in the botched investigation with the defense was withheld by the podcaster. And some of the facts used to suggest evil intent by the police were not presented in context — like dramatically pointing out a typo on an arrest date? Or nitpicking the word “dispatched”? Really? I also understand that a friend of the victim made a false accusation related to the same events, but that was completely omitted from the series. Now that a contingency fee attorney is involved and pushing a tort lawsuit, I question the motivations, because with a lawsuit for money damages pending the attorneys may stand to profit from this victim’s tragedy.

I am so outraged by this case! Carrie Low. THANK YOU for your enduring strength and fight. You are fighting for all survivors, women, and girls. You are a hero. Brave and powerful.

I am outraged by the treatment of Carrie Low by the Crown/Police. I am only 4 episodes in and I feel physically sick by the treatment of this poor woman. Not only brutally attacked over and over by multiple ppl, then to be pushed aside and ignored by the ppl who are supposed to help and investigate. They didn’t even do the basic investigation. She is owed justice and millions!!

Wow is all I can say. If I were a woman in Nova Scotia, I would be terrified if anything happened. Who would help you? Carrie has/had unbelievable strength to keep going as she did. I would have caved. What a world we live in. Unbelievable injustice.

Listened to 1st episode on Evil by Design podcast. Seems this is going to be another great podcast by the CBC. Just wish I would’ve checked to see if the whole podcast was out. I enjoy the binge over the slow drip. But either way heartbreaking story and I pray that this podcast helps heal Ms. Carrie Low and others are strengthened by this type of podcast. Humanity needs to stick together and fight against this type of Evil. Because that’s the real enemy ❤️🛐❤️🛐❤️✝️

Really? I will not listen to this women’s story after finding out about your anti-choice beliefs. Shame on you taking money from a group that works to hurt women, especially on a podcast like this one.

Very brave woman to tell her story. However, I can’t help but suggest, that in the sensitivity and nature of this story, Please! Please place the ads in the front or the end of the story. Being interrupted to hear the sound of a zooming car WILL NOT MAKE ME BUY SOMETHING! I know you have to pay the bills, but for the love of Carrie, have some decency!
