La Liberty Bridge, c’est ainsi que l’on nomme la ligne empruntée par les cargos qui relient l’Europe à la côte est des Etats-Unis. Une véritable autoroute de la marine marchande, une ligne droite, en réalité arrondie puisque la terre est ronde, qui passe au sud des glaces de Terre Neuve. Parmi les nombreux cargos qui l’empruntent La Traviata, navire de la compagnie française CMA CGM sur lequel Thierry Paret eu l’occasion de vivre durant 8 jours entre Le Havre et New-York.
