Marcelle and Ann welcome guest Carolina Reese to discuss moving up and moving on in your career.
Carolina (she/her) firmly believes in the phrase “if you can see it, you can be it.” She uses her training in photography/videography and arts education to create content that highlights the gaps in visual culture and improve representation in media. Formerly as a documentary photographer and videographer, she documented birth stories, maternal health issues, refugee resettlement, and used those visual stories to provide visual culture and media literacy education. Carolina graduated from the Parsons School of Design with a degree in Fashion Design and has a BBA in International Finance and Marketing from the University of Miami and an MA in Art Education from the University of Florida. She brings over 20 years of experience across a number of industries including: finance, healthcare, education, fashion, and creative arts.
Carolina was born in Bogota, Colombia, grew up in South Florida, and is currently living in Maryland with her family. When not working, Carolina likes exploring vegan restaurants in new places, endurance sports (she’s an Ironman), and spending time with her husband, daughter, and two dogs.
