Heart Failure with Preserved Ejection Fraction (HFpEF) is responsible of more than half of the cases of heart failure. It is a difficult to diagnose and difficult to treat condition. In this lecture i have summarized the available and upcoming drugs and other treatment modalities and evidence supporting each decision we make in HFpEF management. What should be the blood pressure of these patients? How to manage co-morbidities in HFpEF? What drugs to give? What treatments have no basis and should not be given? What drugs to watch out for in future? Is there anything else besides drugs and lifestyle management , which we can offer to the patients and is there any scientific basis of such treatment.
