Been listening to these two ever since they started broadcasting the games and they bring that same energy and excellence to the world of podcasting.

Great podcast. Joe B and Locker are the best in the broadcast biz. Their on-air chemistry is fantastic. I love their stories and enjoy their insight into the game. These two never disappoint and always put a smile on my face with their wit. To borrow a line from one of Joe B’s greatest calls, “simply sensational!”

They always say how lucky they are to do their jobs. However, I think us fans are truly the lucky ones. I could listen to Joe B and Locker 24/7.

It’s been 2 months….not like anything has happened. Is it so hard to update the podcast???

The caps state sponsored media is getting to be as bad as Kuzy. No one cares that there is a guy on the production staff that is a Sabres fan. Nick is god awful with his forced jokes. This podcast was great when it was May, Carlin, JJ and Tarik.

It’s sad when there is more daily content coming from the washington football team podcast (a team with no name) (a league that is not even playing right now) vs. the capitals who are going into a playoff series, near the top of the league, with so many storylines. I understand that these guys have other jobs and responsibilities, but I am sure there is quality/knowledgeable/experienced people who would line up for a great podcast. Unfortunately, I will still be listening and waiting... for new content to be released.

Rob Carlin’s departure was the death knell for the Caps podcast. I don’t know what JJ Regan & Nick are doing, must be many other duties, but I know they are not working on producing even an average podcast any longer.

Redid review from 1 to 3. Time to bring Rob Carlin back! Jordan and Nick are horrible. It seems like it is just JJ and Nick now and that is how it should be. More JJ and Alan May. Nick needs to figure out his audio, JJ is always clear and it seems like Nick is in his car.

Why is there an episode on mental health on a hockey podcast? There are other avenues for this. I’ve moved on to Rob’s podcast

Podcast was great with Rob hosting. Jordan is absolutely terrible. The guys do their best to pick up the slack but there is only so much they can do. Either bring Rob back or everyone go listen to his new podcast THE CAPITAL BUILDING PODCAST.

August 2020 Bring Rob back as host and I am no longer a faithful listener. It lacks depth and understanding of the game. Thank you to Alan, Rob, Joe, Craig and others for continuing the pre game and post game analysis. I am a better educated fan and enjoy the frank and informative discussions. Most importantly they share both their love of the game and the CAPs and makes our family feel part of the CAPs community celebrating big wins, tough loses, unhappy ref calls and player injuries. BRING ROB BACK!!

The show has taken a major downturn without Rob Carlin.

I’m sorry but Jordan offers nothing to this podcast. Bring back rob! Where is Alan? Where is Ben?

Carlin is great!!! Annapolis loves him. He is better than nbc. There’s a reason the caps broadcast wins more emmys than the nbc national broadcast.

I really miss Rob Carlin. Please find a way to bring him back.

NBC-Washington let Rob Carlin go; it really shows in this podcast now. What used to be an excellent, professional podcast now seems like a bunch of work buddies trying their hand at podcasting. When you decide to cut your pro’s you end up with minor leaguers.

Show used to be great, but now that they've laid off rob carlin the show feels much less special and much more generic.

I know the current team is doing a decent job...but this podcast is trash without Rob Carlin and to a lesser extent Alan May. Terrible decision to axe Rob Carlin, the man deserves better and was the heart and soul of this podcast. Gonna try to find a new caps podcast. Puck Soup is amazing.

Love the other guys but Rob was the best host. Funny, insightful, engaging. Please bring back Rob!

After all the years listening to the voices of the Caps including at season ticket holder chalk talks, didn’t know there were stories I hadn’t heard. This was a delight. Thanks for making us smile

Sorry to say but the infrequency in the broadcast is this podcast is the reason I can’t give it a good review anymore. I used to enjoy this the day after a game but now it’s as if they don’t want anyone talking about the rough spots with the team. Wish the organization would let them be real again !

Can JJ PLEASE stop yelling? It was hard enough to watch that Flyers game but I don’t need more angst. I turned off one before Christmas for the same reason. I miss Alan.

There is always good insight and its fun listening to JJ lose his mind about caps fans that expect the gm to make insane transactions. Hope this goes back to being after every game or at least 2x week.

I loved this podcast but it’s no longer consistent or as interesting. I miss Alan

When I got into this podcast it featured post game pods after every game of the season. I absolutely loved listening to Alan and Rob along with a rotating third person breaking down the wins and losses. This was a staple of my commute after each game! For whatever reason, this season the pods are quite sporadic and there doesn’t seem to be a clear vision for the podcast anymore. Alan no longer comes on (he was my favorite part), and most of the pods are one-off interviews or “thoughts.” These are all well and good, but I really miss the postgame analysis. I would love to have those back with the other shows included to fill out a week. If the podcast gains some consistency and focus I will move my rating back up to 5 stars, but for now it just feels like such a let down from what it was over the previous few seasons.

This podcast is a great way to spend the commute home! Love the interviews and the hometown personal touch. Love feeling as though we are part of the Capitals that we love so dearly! Hoping we are in the midst of another run at Lord Stanley’s Cup!! My only complaint is I need more episodes!!!!!

What happened to this podcast? I loved listening to it after every game at work? Was it too much work? Both the nationals and redskins nbc podcasts are fantastic with the scheduling and looked forward to the game recaps. It seems like the capitals and wizards got the shaft by nbc sports Washington though. Crazy to think we’re not even two seasons removed from the Stanley cup champs season and the station pulled the plug. Very disappointing.

I stand with all of the other recent reviews as a disappointed listener. Was this a bait and switch? Was is too much work for y’all to have such an aggressive programming schedule? (I’m asking sincerely) Can we at least get a podcast dedicated to an explanation? even if it’s a few minutes long .. Clearly you had A LOT fans that LOVED this podcast.

Loved the Podcast the past two years. Disappointed this year fell off and no regular cadence. What is an out of town Caps fan supposed to do to get team info?

I love this podcast but am disappointed that it is not currently continuing with last year’s every game format or the continued reporting that occurred this summer. The podcast is still good, but I used to look forward to the review of every game. Why was this discontinued? I like Rob and Jenks a lot but miss Alan and Ryan too. I’d like to give a special shout out to Rob for the excellent reporting and analysts he provided this past summer. It was so refreshing to have a summer when hockey was not forgotten. I look forward to more of that quality. Now, could we please get back to the quantity we had come to know and love?

I, too, relied on this podcast the morning after every game. It was so entertaining and educational and just wonderful to listen to on my way into work. It’s also now frustrating to not even be able to predict when a new one is out, it’s so sporadic. I treasure Alan’s special expertise but do love the chemistry between Rob and Jenks. I really want this podcast back after every game!!!

This “was” the BEST podcast, especially for fans outside of the DMV. But now... not so much. The format isn’t working. Maybe if you upload the post-game’s interview after every game, this will at least give your listeners something to look forward to. Good luck turning this ship around. Rob Carlin, you are still the BEST!

I absolutely loved this podcast last year with you guys posting one after nearly every game. I couldn’t wait to listen and the content was fantastic. Now, there is no rhythm as to when you drop these and they are so infrequent that I am thinking about unsubscribing all together. No Alan May anymore is a dealer killer too. Well, all good things must come to and end. What a shame.

This was my go to podcast for all things Caps, however someone in charge decided less is more. Congrats to the individual or individuals that made that decision. The podcast is released so infrequently with no set schedule that it’s not even relevant when it is released. At least the people on the podcast are passionate about what they do, even if management doesn’t care what the fans want to hear. There was a lot of momentum gaining with this one till it went off the rails
