Episode 301šŸ”„
David Bahnsen always speaks truth as he sees it and his wisdom is very much worth the time it takes to listen to. He was on fire in this episode and, providentially, it was excellent timing for us to hear it. So thankful for this podcast!

Well then…. I haven’t heard quite that much passion on the CR before. Although much was over my head I learned a bunch! Viva la CR
WoW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The state is responsible for civic organization decline
Ep. 282 is terrific! The state—not free markets is responsible for alienation and isolation. Civic and social organizations are stronger with a purpose. A larger welfare state crowds out the purpose of charity and for community engagement.

Common Grace
One of my favorite economic podcasters talking about one of my other favorites. David Bahnsen and Scott Galloway should join forces.
Better than "Cats".
A Trusted Voice
All this turns out to be just a year long complaint about tariffs, quite sad.

They should play this at the beginning of every lecture in every economics, regulatory, law, marketing, finance, basket-weaving, gender studies class on every college campus, in all of the US ad infinitum. Unfortunately, we are raising generations of children who a) remain children well into adulthood, and b) think the fix for every perceived injustice is government regulation and more laws. What a blessing to have your voice in the midst of this insanity.

These short episodes are dense; a bit like a Tabata workout. Hang on to your vocabulary and don’t multitask. Grateful for someone who can articulate worldview, first principles and Christian ethics.

Bring back the old format
I don’t like the changes to this podcast. The hour long interview format was a lot more interesting and insightful, especially with guests he took exception with. I certainly don’t agree with David Bahnsen on everything but enjoyed the show for his knowledge and intellect. Now the show is just a soapbox for him to complain for about 10-12 minutes. Boring.

disappointed
i am a physician and have been listening to this podcast for years to educate myself you can be more miserably wrong regarding rfk and the maha movement there are plenty of specifics ! it is about accountability not creating big pharmaceutical as an oppressor at all. also your example of ketruda while ignoring other obvious malfeasance of pharmaceutical companies is pathetic i wont be listening to you anymore .

Update
Enjoyed the episode with Rene Aninao - need an update now that Biden dropped off since the prediction that Biden will win can’t be true šŸ˜Ž

Listening to David and his guests, especially the episode with Louis, very enlightening to hear various economical perspectives and the defense of free markets.

Economics and Investing Please
While I admire and respect your moral and religious beliefs, I find your core economic, financial, and investing narratives much more compelling. these are the subject matters in which you have demonstrated expertise…religion, and philosophy, not so much. For what it’s worth, I consider myself a very religiously observant individual, but I tend to have those conversations one-on-one with people who are truly interested and not as part of a public platform. Keep up the great work!

Incredibly insightful
Being a mortgage professional in the finance space it's been inperitive to guide clients. This podcast has been so helpful for us in the fight against inflation along the way with rising mortgage rates. At times, I have to rewind and consider the thoughts to apply to my clients but it's always ahead of most outlets I can find. Truly enjoy this every week.

So Understandably Helpful!
Just finished listening to session 107 ā€œ Your Money,Your Valuesā€. Brought me much helpful information regarding ESG and it’s impact upon our small businesses. Contacted my money manager insisting he find other retirement investments other than Blackrock and Vanguard. Very glad to find this podcast.

Excellent, poignant, and potentially clairvoyant
Profound for considering. Invaluable in its foresight and explanation of concepts developed over its proprietor’s and guests’ decades of study. It’s an anthology of the most powerful financial and economic ideas of modern times. Also: a drinking game of some type should be offered. Ideas for trigger words: sanguine, Japanification, tautology, etc. To conclude, listen to the podcast.

I wish I could give it more stars
I just finished the episode with Anthony Scaramucci and it was one of the best podcasts I’ve ever listened to. These were two friends discussing topics they’re both highly knowledgeable about - and they frequently disagreed with one another. Through their disagreements about crypto, Scaramucci for and Bahnsen against, I learned more about the issue than anything else I’ve ever learned listening to just one side. Their opinions were well thought out and defended, their disagreements polite, and the mutual respect obvious. If the other episodes are half as good as this one, this podcast is worth a follow.

Good talk. Mooch at times compelling but overall duplicitous & wobbly. Couldn’t get train moving, but didn’t come off the rails either. DB rock solid.

Really excellent
This really is one of those things that, if it didn’t already exist, would have to be invented. The guests are wonderful. I have some background in economics and a lot in public policy and find this illuminating every time. A small area with room for improvement - Bahnson talks too much sometimes, leaving less time than I would like for guests. He could re-listen to some of his introductions and notice that they are repetitive. But his interest in both faith and economic freedom is just my thing, and his willingness to fight his side in this public way is crucial.

Tremendously valuable for understanding the complexity of our economic system, although sometimes the discussions are a bit too technical for ordinary mortals.

High Value for the Time Investment
This podcast has intelligent speakers who come to share facts and have reasoned debates rather than rhetoric. The pace is comfortable, but not slow. They cover their points thoroughly without beating them. I strongly recommend this for anyone who wants to strengthen their understanding of how our economy works - without being spoon fed a particular point of view.

Smart & Pleasant Host + Great Guests
What a find! David Bahsen is highly knowledgeable about markets and humanity. He complements that knowledge by engaging with great guests whom he actually lets speak. Every conversation is a delight.

Excellent and interesting podcast
Mr Bahnsen and his guests do an excellent job of having approachable discussions regarding capitalism, morality and the economy. As an economic neophyte, I find this podcast is a superb jumping off point for investigating some of the deeper American economic mysteries.

Swift Decline
I had high hopes and expectations for NR’s economics podcast, and it started off well. But just listen to the discussion with Larry Kudlow to get a flavor for where things went. If you are all things MAGA and believe that whatever came out of Trump’s mouth on any given day represented sound economic policy, this is a show you will enjoy. Otherwise I’d suggest listening to Capitolism, the economics podcast from The Dispatch.

Episode 39
I’d like an episode where you went in depth about how your Christian faith influences your choice of investment products. Something more in depth than just avoiding tobacco and alcohol. How do you approach from an ethical point of view investing in casinos, hospitals that do abortions, drug companies that manufacture abortifacients, or the sovereign debt of China? Regarding ethics and China you’ve made one or two brief remarks but nothing clear in what I’ve heard. Thanks. A client.

What a gem!!
While we were prodded at the US Army War College to ā€œunderstand economics betterā€ within the corpus of our personal studies, there was zero direction to that end. Between then and now, I’ve read Defending the Free Market by Robert Sirico. I then found Thomas Sowell. Holy moly. Never has this study been more accessible and understandable. And then this podcast. So thank you for all your episodes. You’ve made such a contribution to humanity and personal dignity.

Poor Audio Quality
On this latest offering, what should have been a terrific experience, was ruined by the poor audio quality on Daniel’s end. David, you wee clear and strong, but it was so hard to follow Daniel that it really pretty much ruined the whole program. I assume the problem is it was a telephone interview, so please do find a way to technically improve the audio quality of such endeavors. Thanks so much for all you do for us, David and, do please fix this problem.

Passionate and intelligent
Very much enjoying your podcast capital matters! I don’t know a lot and if that’s typical of the rest of the audience - dammit Jim, I’m a doctor not an economist. But I appreciate how you talk about complex issues with impressive guests and give perspective of what you know from history, what you think is true, or what you just don’t know. Most of all your passion comes through for the conservative arguments both from the head and the heart for growth and prosperity that only come through capitalism and free markets. Thank you.
