No One’s Ever Really Gone
Like the superheroes we adore, this podcast always never stays down. The first time they went off air I was pretty sad. The second time, I was pretty mad. But even though they’ve been gone for a month, I am as calm and confident of their return as the resurrection of Jean Gray. Don’t worry. They’ll come back. They always do.

My favorite comics podcast
I’m a big fan of the podcast and thrilled they are making new episodes. I love their deep dives into character history, reviews of tv and movies, and the discussion around particular comic arcs. Honestly though, they deserve 5 stars simply for titling an episode ‘We’re up all night to get Loki.’

Please continue to tell me all the things.
I really love super heroes and comic books but I hate reading them. This podcast tells me every thing I need to know without ever having to read a comic book. Thank you.

One of the best comic book podcasts around
Great banter between the hosts, and really interesting deep-dives into the history of various characters and story-lines. Whether you’re a seasoned comic book expert or someone who just enjoys the occasional superhero movie every now and again, you’ll find something to enjoy here.

The podcast we need, not the podcast we deserve.
Even tho they randomly disappeared, and they all pronounce Kevin Feige’s name a different way, this is the perfect podcast.

Great mix of comics and movie talk
Fun and informed discussion on all things superhero, with a very good mix of current movie/tv show news and deeper dives into particular characters both in the comics and on the screen. If anything I’d love even more focus on the characters in the comics in particular.

Just Right!
This show has just he right amount of comics goodness. It is accessible to newer comics readers and yet still has enough meat to be enjoyable for those more veteran lovers of comics. Really enjoy their insights and every episode has me getting more books to read.

Just the...
right amount of news, and character back story.

Good stuff
I found this podcast, because Taylor was on “That Sounds Fun Podcast”. I rally enjoy the knowledge they bring, and it has introduced me to all older stuff that I did not know about. I love the chemistry of the four host. I think it’s really amazing. Keep up the awesome work.

Good stuff.
I am really into the MCU. This cast does a good job of discussing what’s new and they make it fun.

By the Hoary Host of Hoggoth!
Capetown Pod is like gamma radiation to this nerd’s soul. Each episode reignites my passion for all things comics and even though I’m a faithful Marvel devotee they have even encouraged me to branch out a it. Keep it up true believers!

Ear fun.
Core sampling themes, tropes and concepts on all things comic-related. These guys (and gal) do good work laying a foundation to build upon in this genre.

Love the deep dives into characters. Tyler and crew have a very enjoyable podcast. I also appreciate that they give specific books to check out.

Was a fan of the old and a now a fan of the new
Bird, Plane, Pod was one of the few podcasts that got me hooked into listening to podcasts in the first place! When I moved to Nashville this past year was when I heard that they were gonna start the podcast up again but under a new title and I was ecstatic! So pumped to hear them doing their podcasts again, especially living in a new city because it gives me some friendly voices to listen to as they talk about something I love while on my commute in and around Nashville! Keep up the great work Lady and Gents!

So good! Even if you are not a comic fan!
I have never been a fan of the comics, but I can listen to these guys banter and discuss superheroes and stories til the cows come home.

Excited that this exists
I really enjoyed the thoughtful conversation on Batgirl and the different perspectives from which characters can be written. Looking forward to future episodes!

The Lady Thor to IABIAPIAP’s Thor
Loved It’s A Bird It’s A Plane It’s A Podcast, looking forward to listening to this one too! It wouldn’t be a real superhero podcast if there weren’t any tragic deaths upstaged by triumphant returns, right?

They’re back!
They say there’s a superhero podcast-shaped hole in us all, and boy have I felt it since It’s a Bird, It’s a Plane, It’s a Podcast went on gentle into that good night. But now Tyler Huckabee (whom I have had the pleasure of interviewing; a true mensch) and co. have returned to guide us through the turbulent waters of superhero fandom. Last time around the crew helped introduce me to the broader comics universe. IABIAPIAP was instrumental in my own development as a comics fan. So grateful they’re back in action. SUBSCRIBE!
