I watched Emancipation and it gave me a message to give to you about the ability to Perservere in life to achieve your goals.  Perserverance - persistence in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success. We gotta get it together!  We must love one another and we must seek to understand, listen and communicate with one another to advance the culture. Today we used a library of different videos to break down some of the causation behind "Why" the black community is so broken and I offer some of my personal tidbits on what we could do to prepare to go into the future. 

Stop hoarding information in the information age. Today's conversation resides around the need for our community to center itself around getting used to a couple of phenomena. 1. Sharing new information to help somebody come up.... 2. Be patient! Let people go through their learning phase. 3. Give time for people adjust their mind to what you are sharing with them. 4. Today! We discuss J.R. Smith's historic quote that he laid down on the set of "I am athlete" and why some of us are still asleep. The consciousness of being black and wealthy is alive and well in today's society. Black have NO excuse to NOT succeed in today's time, we have access to more tools than ever to make money moves. The problem is that our mindset has to be dealt with. For instance some of us are still Eurocentric focused and we need a little guidance on moving out of that focus on grappling the mindset of Afrocentric focus. Eurocentrism by definition is the belief in the superiority of Europe and its overseas extensions. Afrocentrism by definition is cultural and political movement whose mainly African American adherents regard themselves and all other Blacks as syncretic Africans and believe that their worldview should positively reflect traditional African values. If you are hungry it's time to eat! Dig into the episode and I am glad you're here to be mentally fed.
