A wealth of information
A ton of very helpful tips and information. I appreciate that the panel tries their best to not fear monger and instead present the topics in a very positive and motivating way

Life was good until……
….episode 232 was made. Boo boo hiss hiss. This episode jumped the shark starting with the scenario announcer’s underwhelming performance. Where did you get that guy? Every week I approach this show with passion. When you squeeze my life out of its crappy tube, this show is the last drop. I look forward to that last drop more than anything every week. I am saddened. Episode 232 needs to change its underwear. However, I will be here next week looking forward to a five star performance. I appreciate you and the world’s a better place with you in it.

No fear-mongering clickbait
Unlike that big video channel with a very similar name, this crew consistently stays grounded and realistic. Most preparedness helps us deal with real life issues: loss of power, storms, disasters, etc. Prepping for real life covers the bases all the extreme events people seem to yearn for. The gang and their guests discuss the things they’ve personally done each week, (my favorite part.) Whether a guest or just a group chat, they have great questions or points they’ve laid out. You can tell these folks study and live the topics. They’re radio techs, medics, and people with real experience setting up their off-grid power systems. They grow their food and raise their chickens. They ask for a simple donation without trying to drive you to the affiliate links. I make a living writing post-apoc fiction, so I utilize this podcast to help keep up my list of tips to sprinkle into the stories. Keep it up, my northern friends. Pat, Washington state

No way Jose!
WAS a regular listener until I tuned in and was greeted with a commercial entirely in Spanish. I could make out one word: Walmart. Figures. Disgraceful and disappointing.

Charming Nerds with Good Prep Info
I enjoy listening to this show and chuckle at the banter between the hosts (oh yeah, every one there is a host 🤣). Great format to the show starting with recent news and then moving into each participant talking about the preps they’ve done during the past week. That segment has been inspiring to me as I began my prepping. The majority of the weekly podcast is a focus on one aspect of prepping usually lead by a guest. Great job guys! Thanks for your ideas and that lovely Canadian “niceness” persona. 👍🏻

Great show as usual. Ask Alan or Ian whoever he is today about the Three word thing for Search and Rescue. What was the app or name of it. Enjoy the subject matter on this podcast. Jeff in New Mexico

Heating an apartment
Just found this golden pod cast. I live in a 1 bed - bath apartment and are heating is forced air so your recommendations for second heating is a bit out of the question. I do plan to get some heavy duty shades to help but is there any other good apartment friendly ideas for secondary heating?

Red green meets real world.
I was suggested to check these guys out through a “book of faces” group and absolutely love the podcast. Great information, conversations and ideas on a level we all can relate to. Love their what I call “ practical not tactical” approach to the prepper world. I can’t help but think of the Red Green show (one of my favorite shows growing up) every time I listen. Keep up the great content!! Casey- Florida

Real People Prepping
This is my favorite group of people. They’re real, they’re walking their talk, they’re Canadian…. Wait, what? Ok, so they’re not talking about guns&zombies each week. If you want that there’s dozens of podcasts for us red-blooded Americans. However, if you want to participate in a weekly podcast where you can learn preparedness and homesteading, especially in the northern regions, this is spot on. And although they live north of the border (south of mine) they don’t bash America nor trumpet Canada. They talk like we’re all a family in this mess together. KP - Alaska

Friendly at the end of the World
Gotta love Canadians. Smart, resourceful, and unfailingly nice, even as the world falls apart. This is a great show for learning the skills to protect yourself and your family.

Great Podcast
Even though I’m a Minnesotan who grew up 2 hrs from Winnipeg, I have many Canadian friends and I value the Canadian history, music and lifestyle. I sometimes convince myself I’m Canadian. I am on a emergency response team that does disaster preparedness, confined entry rescue. I practice survivalist skills I love this podcast with the many voices from across Canada discussing really good topics. Thanks for great information!

Love it
Love the podcast always Learn something new even though I’ve been prepping for the past 5 years my only complaint is that their Canadian accents are not thick enough haven’t heard one eh or aboot, or it could just be my American arrogance

Great podcast
Despite their glaring Canadiosity, these guys put on a great podcast, fun and informative. It’s moved into my top 3 prepcasts.

Enjoy the panels comradely and sharing attitude
You guys are great and we enjoy listening. We are having our share of gun control issues in Virginia and nice to see your take on the same thing in Canada

Appreciate Perspectives
Thank you for joining forces, to share your prepping knowledge. Your group covers a variety of areas, and the banter brings out rich content. I’ve gained much from listening to how you think through and collaborate on each discussion. I look forward to gleaning much from your experiences.

Interesting Perspective
They started out very basic but have moved into subjects that I had never thought much about. Very worth the time.

Good Stuff!
Stumbled upon this and have enjoyed since! Like the spitballing they do and how they share freely between themselves. Thanks!

Greetings from the USA
I am a landscaper by trade in Connecticut, USA . So I am always looking for stuff to listen to while I’m working. As a casual Prepper I stumbled onto your podcast and have been speeding through the episodes. As a Prepper it’s fun to listen to and has a lot of useful info. I go to a lot of estate auctions in person and online, I find tons of prepping gear for my doomsday room this way. Usually at very cheap rates too. Haven’t herd you talk about that yet and thought your listeners might like that tip. Thanks guys keep up the good work.

Keeping up with the Canadians
Listen for all the right reasons (amazing, thoughtful, inspired emergency preparedness) or the wrong reasons (fun to decipher the idioms) but just listen! No, don’t just listen, try to match ‘What we’ve done lately for preps’ Thanks for the great shows, guys! Very entertaining and educational!

Prepping Canadian Style
I live in the states, but spend a lot of time in Canada (both B.C. and Ontario), so its great to hear a Canadian perspective on prepping. Lots of very useful info presented with humour and flair, with different main topics each time. Keep up the great podcast, guys!

Make me NEED to prep!
At first I was a bit annoyed by the skipping audio but it has grown on me! Sounds like A conversation taking place during an actual emergency. I like the simple breakdown of the main topic covered with enough detail to keep me interested. Keep it up guys.

Solid information for those in the north
I’m in the northern US, so the climate I have is far more in common with Canadian prepping concerns than most American sources. There are great considerations published by this podcast and highly recommend them.

Very informative
I’ve been following The Canadian Prepper on YouTube for years. He was the first prepper channel I subscribed to and I continue to follow. I was very excited when he came out with a podcast because I can not always watch his videos on the move. Also the podcasts provide a more in depth discussion of prepper topics with opinions from other prepper a on the show.
