You might remember my 100th episode of Campus Crime Chronicles, where I covered the tragic death of Tim Piazza, a fraternity pledge at Penn State University in State College, Pennsylvania. Tim died in 2017 after a horrifying night of hazing and excessive alcohol consumption. And in that episode, I dug deep into his case — including the long and deeply disturbing history of alcohol-fueled hazing within Penn State’s Greek Life community, as well as the sweeping changes the university implemented in the aftermath of Tim’s death.
