We are starting a new sermon series in Galatians called “Gospel Partners” this week. During the series, we will explore various questions pertaining to the gospel. For instance, what is the gospel? What happens when we distort or add on to the gospel? How do we stay focused on what Jesus did on the cross in our self-focused western culture?
In Galatians 1:1-9, Paul writes to the Galatian church, warning them against distorting and misrepresenting the true Christian faith. By doing so they were leading people astray, into a path of separation, division, and spiritual death. Fortunately, Paul reminds us that the true gospel changes every area of our lives, and we need a daily reminder of what that means for us. Please pray for Pastor Steve and the team as they prepare the service. We are looking forward to what God is going to do this Sunday!

Where do we find joy in a time of waiting? How do we find joy when things don’t go as planned? Can we actually experience joy in this life?
This Sunday, we will explore the shepherds’ experience found in Luke 2:8-20 and discover that joy can be found in unexpected interruptions. How is your life being interrupted? What can we learn from the shepherd’s response? So, let us open our hearts to divine interruptions and find joy in the anticipation of Christ’s presence during this Advent season.
Please pray for Pastor Steve and the team as they prepare for our carol service. We are looking forward to what God is going to do this Sunday!
