Anyone thinking of listening to this, DO IT!!! It’s genuinely so good and has such amazing writing!!! I love this show

i love this show omg. the relationship dynamics are amazing and its so charming and fun. listen immediately!the one thing im bummed about is (spoilers) i feel like it felt kinda forced to make up and adam the villain. the fact he was in love with sydney just seemed really out of character and made it feel like a repeat of pyre of the muse. it’s disappointing bc i feel like up and adam would’ve been better off as quirky side character; sydney’s unsettling and eccentric therapist and camp over where director. don’t get me wrong it’s still my favorite podcast ever, (i dont really listen to any others), one of my favorite shows in general, and it definitely deserves 10/5 stars. but i felt like i should bring this up bc i haven’t seen anyone else talk about it. but i absolutely LOVED the joshua and sydney arc in season two. great season for the joshua fans as usual. anyways thank you blue wolfe for this amazing show. you’re seriously a man of talent and this show is criminally underrated.

I haven’t yet been able to get through a full episode because the woman who does the narration speaks so quickly that I miss some of what she’s saying. However, I love creepy podcasts, and this one is highly rated, so - perhaps it gets better? As of now, I feel like I’m listening to someone in a high school theater class racing through her lines. I don’t understand why it’s so hard for so many otherwise excellent podcasts to find good voice actors.

Genuinely terrified me and gave a me a lot of food for thought on my own life and my relationships and my view of my own self. I’ve been a people pleaser as long as I can remember and I’ve been really trying to live for me and be me even if it upsets people. I don’t really know how to describe it but I’m on episode 67 and it’s so good. I recommend.

only reason why I listened to this podcast is because will wood was involved in it and I had a big hyperfixation for will wood and DAMN this podcast is hella good

I came from the town of Night Vale and stumbled apon this summer camp and oh wow!!! The sound design is beautiful, the music (THANK YOU WILL WOOD) is AMAZING. The drama is absolutely delicious and the relationship problems between Jedidiah and Sydney are SO GOOD. Me and Yvonne are besties fr (my name is Yvonne ty for using that name I never see it in the wild ily Blue)You must listen!! ⏳🏳️‍🌈 PLEASE.

I found this podcast after listening to the Will Wood soundtrack for the show, which is fantastic. The show is a great story and so well told and produced. Funny, weird, creepy, and fascinating. I’m only on episode 4 but I’m hooked.

So I started listening to this podcast in may, and since then I’ve listened to it about,,, 4 times now! Honestly such a clever way of how most of the story is told. It’s mainly Sydney telling us the stories that happened at the camp that day, as if we were a camper! And then we get to see behind the curtain with the ghost recorder. Combined with my will wood hyperfixation, listening to this podcast made me go insane in the best way possible. I also just love any stories set in summer camps! This being my first podcast was a great choice. I will love this podcast forever, I can’t wait for season 2, I’ll be patiently awaiting for it!! I need to know what happened to Elijah,,, that bastard.

got into camp here and there because of will wood and this is SUCH a good show. it got me into horror podcasts and i love many of the characters, everything is well written and wonderful. so excited for the next season!

i genuinely love this podcast with my whole heart. i found out about it in 2022 and it’s amazing. the voice actors are amazing and talented people (go check all their socials out!!) blue mayfield is a very creative guy and im so thankful this exists. i’ve loved this podcast for two years straight and my interest in it hasn’t died down one bit. i’ve bought merch and even interacted with some of the voice actors!! people talk about this podcast and only mention that will wood did the music. though he IS an insanely talented artist (hes been my favorite for years now and is how i discovered this podcast), i think we should give some credit to the amazing cast of this. i’ve met so many friends and had such a fun time in the community. (also soren baltimore is the best character i love him so much.)

OMG my boyfriend loves Will Wood/Will Wood and The Tapeworms, and so do I! not as extremely as him though with his autistic self…so I finally listened and omfgggg I’m so Elijah coded…whether that be heathly or not, thanks pookie!!! It’s like The Magnus Archives, WOLF359, and The Penumbra Podcast! it pulled me in and now it’s one of my favorite things! Also, as a trans masc person, I loved the diversity and representation in this! Thanks for giving me a new hyper fixation! Time to draw these guys for months without pause!

Every time I try to write a normal review I just end up making microwave noises because of how good it is.

Like a bizarre hybrid of Welcome to Nightvale and Camp Camp. The first season works as a really good inter character drama/supernatural comedy, but the episode descriptions are brilliant at alluding to unseen bigger picture making me want to see more. I heard the second season is in production so I can’t wait to see how it turns out.

Saying that is good or even great doesn’t even begin to cover the incredible masterpiece that is this story. Mystery, twists, humour, enticing, layered characters, and WILL WOOD. Muah, chefs kiss. This is a story I would never wish upon anyone to miss out on.

OKAY i recently got into will woods music and I listened to the camp here & there album. I thought it was really good and then found out it was from a PODCAST. Started listening and holy crap this is really good. It reminds me a lot of “Welcome to nightvale” which I could never fully get into. But THIS is exactly the story podcast I’ve been looking for. The horror mixed with the comedy really blends well together and I listen to the music outside of the podcast. Very amazing 11/10. Mwa😼 -Nico

My friend’s been getting me to listen to a bunch of fiction podcasts, and this is by far my favorite! The humor is so charming, the writing is amazing, and the themes are handled so maturely. On top of that, representation is amazing. I cannot praise this podcast enough. I’m super excited for season 2. As soon as I’m old enough to become a pattern (and have the money to do so) I’ll be supporting this podcast as much as I can! Keep up the good work 👍

Best fiction podcast I’ve ever listened to, hands down

Insanely amazing music- perfect for the material. Loved the premise and wild creativity of the writing . The format of the announcements reporting the crazy things that happened in between is really imaginative. I am impressed by the production quality. All in all an interesting and very enjoyable podcast!

Great remise of a kid’s camp in a post-Yellow King landscape (though we don’t know why it’s like that). Really fun point of view from the camp’s nurse who likes the kiddo’s informed, loved, and entertained. A little Welcome to Nightvale-esque with an equally cute but less stable romantic relationship. Love the energy and the voice acting direction. Love the world that the writers have created for the camp.

Everything about this show is incredible and makes me love it more. The art, music, storytelling, and acting makes me so happy. Highly highly highly recommend. One of the best shows of this year
