Where are you when we need you most?

I’ve listened to this podcast for quite awhile now, and have usually enjoyed it. But after these last 2 treasure hunts, it’s been obvious to me that these guys are either scammers or liars, or both. While listening to their “ideas” about the most recent Utah treasure hunt, they spent much of their time discussing Real Salt Lake, firefighters from the Salt Palace, and other harebrained ideas. In everything they discussed in these episodes, they never shared one idea that was even remotely close to the correct solve. Yet once the treasure was found, they said, “We were so close. We were on that exact trail the day before the treasure was found”. So there’s 2 options then: 1: These guys are scammers. They have ideas about where the treasure is, but they share idiotic ideas to get their listeners off the real trail, and to distract everyone from actually finding the treasure. 2: These guys have no clue where the treasure is, but once it’s found, they act like they were so close and were just on the trail before it was found. They did the same thing for the Bank of Utah Wallet Hunt. They spent a whole episode telling listeners to investigate fruit festivals, but once it was found, they said, “Yeah, we knew it was in Herriman for sure”. It’s obvious these guys want the treasure for themselves, and don’t really care about their fans. Also, on another note. The innuendos and inappropriate jokes all the time are getting old. I feel like I’m back in middle school listening to these guys. Which is fine if they want to talk like that, but they can’t label the podcast as “clean”.

I do enjoy listening to treasure hunt stuff and these guys will offer up some good ideas on the current hunts even if they don’t share all their great ideas. They do love themselves some innuendos. Don’t worry they will bleep out the most annoying ones, but they will be back in time to let us listen to them laugh about it for the next minute and a half. They also looove talking over each other. So 4.5 stars for the treasure related content, 1.5 stars for the execution, 3 stars in the end.

Easy on the ears, meaning I like their voices. I wish they would have episodes on Beyond the maps edge. That was my random ADHD side note.. They are fun to listen to. Very entertaining and the “clean” is in the grey area. I might not be able to share with some of my family members. Which is sad because I do enjoy listening. It’s the holding my breath during the grey periods that makes me sad. I don’t want to have to stop listening. Thank you for your show! I really do like the content and the Christian sound bite is so great! I have no idea why. Also my teen daughter thinks bathing is gross, I need to have her listen to your show about that. You don’t have tutorials on writing reviews, so this may not be what you wanted. So I think we can chalk it up to, this was too long but truthful and I hope not painful, not as painful as standing over a geyser in Yellowstone National Park and having a burn shaped feather on your ankle. Ya, I made this review about me now. I don’t know the mental disorder that trait belongs to. My kids will know. 🤓

They might not solve the poem, but they’re pretty funny!!

If you like treasure hunts led by guys who definitely read the poem and still miss the treasure hiding in their backyard—this podcast is your goldmine. Christian gets props for at least trying with his wild theories (looking at you, railroad episode 👀), even if we all know they’re one Google Earth zoom away from being back at square one. It’s like National Treasure meets group chat energy. You’ll laugh, you’ll shout “HOW DID YOU MISS THAT,” and you’ll keep listening anyway. Because somehow, not finding the treasure is the real treasure.

Okay treasure hunting podcast. PHENOMENAL broadway show tunes trivia and renditions. 5 out of 5 stars.

Hey guys, I just wanted to throw out that even though you might not lead me to treasure, I do enjoy listening to your solves and jokes. This is a great podcast during the hunt to reset and relax. I think this podcast is so funny. It reminds me of myself trying to get my family involved. Sharing all my brilliant solves and nobody cares. I love going thru the ups and downs of the treasure hunt with these guys

These guys are great. I laugh, I appreciate their time and efforts into creating it but when they explain their solves, I have to wonder about them sometimes. lol. I'll still continue to listen though.

They give off a real Utah valley tech bros vibe but it’s pretty entertaining lol good insite into the Utah treasure hunts and the other history treasure episodes are fun to listen to also.

Love it, guys! I found you guys last summer doing the poem hunt, and am so grateful for your content. Fun, hilarious, and even insightful once or twice an episode! I hope the lost treasures series continues! I’m really enjoying Montezuma and am looking forward to continuing on with Lost Dutchman!

The chemistry is great and their stories are hilarious. I love the tangents they get on that are so random and funny. Also, the tik tok content is awesome! I’m loving it, keep up the great episodes.
