Sokontela Kanangu, Dr. Brandon Broyles, Chad Montgomery and I talk about the life of Sokontela Kanangu, and the origin and ongoing work of the Livingstone School of Evangelism which he spearheaded, and its struggles and many successes in ministry and evangelism with the Zambian people. After listening to Sokontela I realized that the best way to minister is for the members of a native culture to spread the gospel, organically.

Dr. Brandon Broyles, Brady Broyles, and I discuss the slaughtering and carnage of the Passover festival around 37 - 44 A.D. in Jerusalem. We estimate 600,000 slaughtered lambs, producing enough blood to fill between 5 to 100 tanker trucks (depending on how much blood the priests caught in their basin from each lamb). The Passover Festival sacrifices had assembly-line efficiency to accommodate approximately 6 million people. And all sacrifices were made in a single day.

This is part 2 of my discussion with Dr. Brandon Broyles. We look at verses in the Old Testament that established a suffering and dying Messiah, and discuss the similarities between Moses and Jesus in accordance with the Old Testament teaching that Jesus would be akin to Moses. We discuss how new information can shed light on history, and how the New Testament’s revelation reveals the hidden plan that was latent but also kept intentionally mysterious in the Old Testament.

Dr. Brandon Broyles and I discuss the Old Testament prophecies and what the Jewish leaders expected in their conception of the Messiah. We discuss why the plan of God to have a sacrificial lamb atone for the sins of the world had to be veiled in mystery, so as not to allow for the circumvention of the divine plan by man.
