Actor, comedian, writer, and UCB Artistic Director Chris Renfro joins David Brandyn for a funny, candid conversation about what happens when your relationship with sex completely changes.Chris opens up about going from a self-described capital-S “Slut” in their twenties to nearly two years of celibacy, and how stepping away from sex gave them space to rethink what they actually wanted from hookups, intimacy, gender, and relationships. The conversation also gets into Chris’s evolving relationship with gender fluidity and they/them pronouns, experimenting with different identities during the pandemic, navigating gender expression as a working actor, and the importance of having friends who give you room to change.
