What is the biggest difference between U23 and Elite? How’re you coping with the transition? 3.    I remember when I was a JR everyone wanted to be “factory” now you race for the Norco factory team but also the national team for events like world championships, etc. If someone is trying to get to that level what helps them get there outside of riding really fast? Did you have to reach out to a lot of teams, build a relationship early? 4.     I know so many athletes that tie their performance with their mental health, what do you do to keep centered if something doesn’t go right in training, to relax and recoup, or in a race what do you tell yourself to get back into it?    1. Many of us know that you were in law enforcement before joining NICA as the director of the SoCal League, tell us about that transition and more about your life before NICA. 2. What were some of the biggest learning lessons that first year you ran the program in SoCal? 3. Some of my favorite moments of high school were times where my family, team and I would campout at the race sites, and pre-ride with all the other teams. I feel like the entire race weekend is a little atypical when comparing it to a traditional sport, was this the vision in the beginning? 4.
