A show for smart ppl
If you’re smart enough to understand that things you love may also be flawed this is the podcast for you. If you’re looking to be reassured that you are smart and awesome, this is not the podcast for you.

I was hoping it was a fan show
These two host seem to mock everything about anything. I couldn’t take much of this but I still managed to listen to half an episode. Why would you go scene by scene (as we already watched it) and describe it as if the audience is dumb. No insight. Nothing of value added. Simply mocking a show we love and can’t get enough of. Even someone new to the TV series would hate this podcast.

Not everyone should have a podcast
Been rewatching Burn Notice recently and was hoping for some entertaining discussion of the show. This…isn’t it. The hosts don’t wait long to just crap all over, which I wouldn’t mind if they weren’t jumping all over themselves to be the first one to complain. Don’t waste your time with this.

Poor discussion between hosts
The hosts seem incredibly unprepared and don’t seem to know the show all that well. They have a difficult time discussing the show with each other and actively listening to the other person. For example, Bri is constantly interrupting Chris and both hosts seem to just be waiting for the other person to be done talking so that they can talk again. They miss huge plot points (Chris seems to get it more than Bri) and don’t seem to like the show at all.

Uneducated hosts
Pathetically ignorant podcast hosts. Don’t waste your time.

Do they like the show? Not sure.
15 minutes into the pilot review they’ve accurately claimed the camera work was bizarre, the lighting was sketchy, and Jeffrey Donovan’s portrayal of Michael Westen was hilarious because of how unfunny he is. These are things everyone who loves Burn Notice already knows and loves about the show. It feels like hosts don’t actually like the show.
Then the hosts start questioning essential plot like Michael’s burn notice, how it was issued, who was to blame and they were pretty much admitting they didn’t understand the show. Most of us who watch Burn Notice have seen the whole thing at least a half-dozen times, and we know how the story works and why things happened. If you’re going to make a podcast about a beloved show with a huge cult following, you should know the plot inside out and not invent plot holes.

Disappointing
I’m not really sure why you’d do a podcast about a show you don’t seem to like.

Really Interesting
This podcast is wonderful in that it takes a show that is clearly beloved by fans and discusses it in a way that honors the show but also take a critical eye. It’s smart funny and definitely worth a listen for fans of Burn Notice.

Intelligent, thoughtful....art
This is proof that sometimes some randos should be given a mic and a platform. They take analysis of a cable show from 2007 and make it something transcendent, almost too holy for human ears. Truly I don’t see how anyone of intelligence could dislike this landmark artistic triumph.

Dumb
Perfect example of why not everyone should have access to a mic and a platform. Two idiots who claim to be movie makers? LOL completely missing every mark and painfully failing at their attempt of analysis and being funny or quirky at the same time.
Was excited to have a Burn Notice pod to follow along with the show now being on Hulu and made it through first 20 minutes thinking they’re doing a bit of what a moron watching the show on a different intelligence level would sound like but quickly realised it may not be schtick. Someone take their mics away and spare the humiliation.

A well produced podcast by two people who hate Burn Notice.
If you are a film student, and you have been looking for a critical breakdown of a network cable show from 2007, this is the podcast for you.
If you are a fan of Burn Notice, it may be tough to listen to two people incessantly rip on the show, while simultaneously claiming adoration.
