On this episode we have Dawn Hilton-Williams — she co-founded Power is Giving here in Charlotte with her daughter, Nadia, back in 2016, and their work covers a lot more ground than people expect: physician-led lunch and learns breaking down chronic illness in plain language, half-day summits with cooking demos and health screenings, even a youth tennis program tackling childhood obesity. All of it built around the same idea — whole food, plant-based education that actually looks and feels like the communities it's serving, not some generic wellness plan handed down from outside.Support Power is Giving on myCharity: www.mycharity.app/nonprofit/@powerisgivingPower is Giving:WebsiteInstagramFacebookYouTubeFollow us everywhere: InstagramFacebookLinkedInYouTubeWelcome to Building a Better World with myCharity. On this podcast, we dig into the story behind the work with nonprofit founders and executives — who they are, why they chose this, and what it actually takes to build something that matters.
