This week we're talking about Fatal Invention by Dorothy Roberts. It's a book all about how science has been perpetuating race as a biological construct when it is actually a social construct. This book is one Caitlin and I picked up to help educate ourselves on the struggle that Black people in America face every single day. But this book also talks a bit about Latinx and Indigenous people as well. We are still learning, so please reach out to us if we said anything incorrectly in this episode, we would like to take responsibility for that. Thank you for listening and we hope you take a moment afterwards to put yourself in someone else's shoes!

Welcome to book number 3 in the Bugs&Stuff book club series! We're reading If I Understood You, Would I Have This Look on My Face? By Alan Alda. I fangirl a lot about Alan Alda, Caitlin applies this book to her job, and all in all it's just a really great book!
