Nice day today, minus 5 or so. I’m blocked by Steven Pinker. I have no idea why, but it seems to be a good group to belong to. Isabelle found an old friend from when we lived here back in the 90s, and that’s a great story. Boy the store was annoying today. The sign, however, was not offensive. I bought some nice wine with money Isabelle’s Mom gave us for Christmas. Isabelle is still working on her French Town project, and adapting during the lockdown. The lockdown is actually affecting the work, which is pretty neat. I want to bike.

Come with us on our weekly errands. Jon came this time, it made the time pass a little more quickly. Isabelle dropped snowflakes off at the museum. Joe Biden is the US president. Filibuster Shmilibuster. Jon’s been doing well in his online classes. The term has started and, well, I have been doing well in my online classes. I got Jon some Bud. We like Biden because he’s competent and not evil.

These titles are getting odder by the day. Isabelle dropped some stuff off at a friends house. It’s full lockdown in Ontario. It’s snowing today. Art IS Isabelle’s work. The term starts Monday. Did you know there was Mongolian Folk Metal? You do now. The store was not busy. Forgot to check the sign!

Hey, we got gas, so there’s an extra break this week. Did you see that thing where armed thugs tried to mount a coup in the State? Did you see that thing where two Democrats became senators in Georgia? Did you see that thing where the store wasn’t very full but some people don’t wear masks properly? Do you feel liberated in a mask, so you can sing and mock people? Do you do reflective recordings on your phone like Isabelle? Did you see that the sign wasn’t offensive? Do you miss it being offensive? Do you like this format where I just type inane questions?

Back to the Saturday schedule for the foreseeable future. Cases are up here, that’s annoying. Provincial ministers, and a federal MP, traveled internationally, and yeah no, not good. We’re set for the term pretty much. Jon will have some work from home stuff. I have a video to make. Isabelle is finishing up another project. We went to the studio yesterday.

We start off with Isabelle proving a thing to me. This should indicate that I’m a peach to live with. We talked about how Dad didn’t wear a winter coat or boots for a long time. He also didn’t wear gloves. He was weird. The store wasn’t bad today. The sign has not changed in a couple of weeks. Isabelle likes her new phone, and her lenses. We’ll see you next year!

So, here’s the deal: We can’t go grocery shopping next Saturday because the stores will be closed on Boxing Day. I noted in Saturday’s episode that we’d probably go Wednesday. However, it turns out that there’s a lockdown coming, so hell, let’s go pick up what we need now? So we did. Oh plus I went to the cannabis store. People were, for the most part, compliant to rules, much moreso than normal. Generally people were patient as well. The LCBO was fine, the sign was the same as the other day so no need to talk about it. We talked about making friends, about civic boosterism and other things. Merry Christmas everyone!

Pretty great title. Isabelle came up with it right at the end. The store was the store. The sign remains inoffensive. I’ve been messing around in r/professors on Reddit. Our region continues to do well, the rest of the province, not so much, lockdowns are coming. Oh we now have a lot of snow. Most of it came Monday. Well, it’s not THAT much snow, but we had literally none a week ago. Isabelle and I don’t fit in. We’re good with that.

Hell fo a week here chez Michaud-Brodbeck! Isabelle found an online program for Jon which will be great. It’s a social interaction thing with other people his age. Should be excellent (it’s a well run, science based program too, not just something thought up by some hack). I got promoted to full professor! Oh and for some odd reason, the city patched a couple of divots in out driveway! The store was uncomfortable but bearable, sort of like living with me. The LCBO was the same. I took forever to find graham crackers.

We made an extra stop today as Isabelle had a present to drop off to her friend Zenith. The sign wasn’t offensive today. We have hardly any snow as you can see in the picture. I have a thing hanging over my head. Isabelle is working on stuff for Jon. Isabelle went to Wal Mart, which, was probably insane. I felt uncomfortable shopping.
