He explains what drove him to make this book and why he feels it's more needed now with the state of the world. He also describes his background growing up as a devoted catholic and being introduced to different cultures and backgrounds while on his pilgrimages. From having complete faith in God to provide while traveling from town to down with no means to survive.  But at the same time question why some are more fortunate than those being born with difficult circumstances than their counterparts. He actually puts complete accountability on Christians and the Church for not being more vocal in the fight for justice, equality and peace.  That the church should be more present in the battles of helping thy neighbor.
