This is my favorite history podcast!! The two hosts are not only great storytellers, they are hilarious! I literally laugh out loud every episode. Their banter is the best part of the show! Keep the episodes coming!

I’m obsessed with this podcast. The subjects, storytelling, and banter are all “chef’s kiss”. I’m on my way to hearing every single episode. Even the guests who stood in for Matt while he was out were fantastic! One of the best shows out there, period.

I love this podcast- it makes me laugh, and reconnects me to my British half. And I appreciate so much that it’s rarely triggering. Alice and Matt, please don’t quit this!

So, I just finished season 17 talking about Mrs. Whitehouse, and about how she was trying to censor the media. What I find ironic, is that one of the host was shocked about trying to censor people. When, right now in the UK, the government is literally arresting people for social media posts while the UK police are ignoring actual crimes. I’m sure this podcast will have and episode talking about this scandal, but don’t hold your breath. Im sure they are fine to go and track down social media posters for saying that they didn’t like. This is the epitome of the hypocrisy of people in the media today.

I'm usually not a big fan of the "Buddies Cracking Jokes" podcast format but in this case both hosts come across as professional entertainers who have a great rapport and are both genuinely clever. I enjoy the historical subject matter as well as the British pop culture references. An engaging and informative foray in to all things Blighty and Mighty!

Just listened to the Harry vs Wills, or perhaps it should have been called “The most perfect love story ever told vs some boring British couple who can’t possibly compare to them”. Clearly told from a Harry/Meghan are perfect and everyone else is dull, cold and jealous of their perfection angle, it was just so cringeworthy with the slobber that is made it hard to listen to without laughing at the cheese.

I’m not British and miss a few of the British references but just love these two. They are funny, clever but the content and narrative are exciting. Love it!

One of the best podcasts to which I have ever listened

These two are hilarious! I came for the entertaining history and stayed for the commentary. Alice and Matt are so witty and endearing, and thoughtful. New favorite podcast!

Just found this podcast, and am bingeing through season two so far. Fascinating stories delivered beautifully, with laugh-out-loud humor. Really like the hosts! This podcast is better than its American counterpart.

I have read reviews,and lots of them are good but there are also some not so nice ones. Like Guys..are you really spending your time writing bad reviews about This amazing podcast. I read that in one of the episodes one episode is the same as another wich I didn’t know because I have only just got into this. But even so I love it so much, and reading the bad reviews is honestly so disappointing if you’re going to write reviews at least make them nice. They are trying their best and they’re podcast is the best one I have ever listened to🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Ummm..episode 1 & 2 on season 68 are the same episode. People have been posting that for 2 weeks now—why is it still not fixed?

Episode 1 is really 2. Story is kind of overdone in books and other podcasts. You guys need a new producer.

I absolutely love listening to these two! They have great chemistry. They don’t get too crazy and battering which if they did more, I would not mind. I have noticed their relationship blossom over the years and it feels like I’m hanging out with my two best friends.

I’ve dealt with your corny banter for years, but the Blaccents of Oprah and Tyler Perry were terrible. That was choice. Unsubscribing.

To use the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and the F bomb as one word is exceedingly offensive and not necessary to tell the story. Disappointed with Eondery.

Absolutely educational for those who do not know (or believe) in how disgustingly corrupt is our society (please, read international!). The level of hypocrisy in the “elite “ is staggering, especially when seen through the lens of young generations who, unfortunately, still look at this useless “elite” as a moral compass. Thank you for indirectly educating me and directly exposing the disgraceful level of shame we all carelessly hide. I’m looking forward to hearing your story on Epstein/trump reality. Cri

Currently listening to the Osbournes episodes and it is just so much fun! Matt Forde doing his Sharon Osborne voice is nothing short of brilliant! His Ozzie voice is good too, but Sharon is just hilarious! Love listening to Alice Levine giggle and her commentary is priceless! Just perfect during these dismal days!

Great for binge listening - intriguing enough to keep my attention for HOURS (how else can I get my house clean?!), topical enough that current issues are covered with sufficient depth and respect but not becoming too preachy (I’m the choir, I don’t need to be even more outraged), while the stories of major injustices and unappreciated heroes and heroines are given much-needed airtime. Ticks every box for enjoyable listening.

I like the short banter between the hosts, but the voice changing based on which characters are speaking is so incredibly distracting!!! For starters, if it’s a male character, perhaps use a male voice? Or just was the text without sounding like you’re doing a puppet show for kids. Ruins it every time!!!

Even though I am an American and don’t know about most of these stories, the hosts’ chemistry and comedy, as well as an amazing telling of information that is both extensive and exciting, this podcast is AMAZING for listening to anywhere from an evening walk to cleaning. Love this show so much also I think your American accents are hilarious. The chemistry between the hosts and the funny asides when things get tense makes this show the perfect combination of comedy and well researched scandals makes an amazing show that I use as a judging system for other shows

This podcast is the best out there! As an American, I love listening to stories from Britain, some of which I didn’t know about. I love the storytelling and I especially love the way they do accents. The American ones Especially! So full of humor. This podcast better never go off the air! Love, love, love!

I love this show so much, I enjoy listening to the podcasts and they are always so engaging and entertaining. Literally my favorite podcast. I live in America and enjoy listening to British scandals so much, this has got to be a jewel of a podcast that i accidentally found. And just hear me out on this…I could see Alice and Matt dating one day.

I enjoy the podcast a lot, but the April Ashley season was unbalanced. When they said “her whole existence was erased from law” in the ruling, this was untrue. The law recognized the reality of his sex. There are still reasons that sex matters in law. The hosts were aware of this because they opened with “what is a woman”? But they did not explain the gender critical side of this, they didn’t debate this with the depth it requires, too focused on leaning into the idea of April as a victim.

What a great balance! The stories are engaging and the witty banter tops it off! And the episodes are just the right length. Really great.

I love everything about this podcast. The stories are fascinating and told with the perfect amount of humor and occasional deference. I looked forward forward to this one more than most.

This is my go to show. Where else can you find two hosts putting on incredible in their badness foreign accents and giggling at their perfectly silly jokes and observations. I just love the host interaction, and then the actual content is expertly produced, researched, and told. It really is a 10/10 show.

Brilliantly researched and told with wit, Alice and Matt make history gripping, funny and a must listen. I always get excited to find out which scandal they will cover next!

I binge-listen to this podcast along with two others, Lady Killers and You're Dead to Me. It's a historical comedy, and as an Anglophile and historian, I greatly enjoy it. I particularly love that Matt's American accent sounds like a 1930s Chicago mobster (I am American and laugh every time). This pod gets me through mundane chores and long drives. Also, I don't know what’s up with the dude in the reviews about Trump; there's a majority of us who would disagree. That's the thing about being in America: We can make fun of our Cheeto Jesus leader without fear of retribution, at least for now. Like others have said, this is a British Scandal, so stop with the vitriol.

This is BRITISH Scandal. What does that have to do with Trump The Felon? Guess you just gotta bow to your fascist leader every chance you get. Weird.

You lefties have taken over every aspect of media! I can’t even enjoy a podcast without your stupid opinions. FYI Trump is the greatest president we have ever had!
