Episode 25 2021 - The French author, of a Syrian Tale, chose to make the setting in China, about a Muslim boy. I couldn’t let that detail slide in this episode. Obviously these are amateurs giving their opinion, but this specific detail was just said in a manner of fact, which I drew issue with. These are the things that bother me that I will take time to correct. The original published story, does take place in china, although the author has said they heard the story from a Syrian native, which is considered Middle Eastern.

What a wonderful podcast. Great discussions about life and movies and movies and life.

A podcast I only learned about after it’s returned from year to year posting, so I consider myself lucky to find it when I did. The host, Aubrey, is hilarious, genuine and has very great opinions and insight about movies. Also the guest selection has been killer. Definitely a podcast to binge if not at least play when your favorite movies are mentioned.
